they are lovely torts but they should not be kept together, you should speperate each species and have an enclosure for each, if you dont have the space or money to do this then you shouldnt have purchased so many species of tortoise. Im sorry to sound negative but sadly you are giving others the idea that mixing species is ok when it is not. i really hope you will do some research after reading this and get them seperated ASAP, if you care for your tortoises you will listen. @relaxkuma123 Thanks. I only have Eastern Hermann's tortoises (Greek tortoises, testudo hermanni boettgeri or THB for short). Two adults, age 27 and 14, who started reproducing a couple of years ago. So, currently, I have 15 young tortoises. Some will be given away, because new hatchlings arrive every year. ;)
firstly... i never mentioned breeding... secondly just because you have purchased tortoises does not mean you automatically know how to best care for them... and clearly you yourself are not a tortoise keeper or you would be giving the same advice as me. I am not saying it to be mean, but for the tortoises best interests they need to be separated. There are a number of factors to consider such as diseases, different care needs, bullying...
mreid08 bull shit. They can't and won't love each other. One or the other will end up sick and die please know about them properly.. get this app tortoise forum you'll have solutions to all your problems. tortoiseforum.org/index.php?threads/79895/
first of all the torts are far to young to breed. Im sure when the get to breeding age which could be 10 years from now he will separate them, I'm sure if he/sure its knowledgeable enough to care for one he sure would know whats right and wrong.
What are you talking about? Breeding ahas absolutely nothing to do with while they should be seperated. They all have different dietary and environmental needs based on species and what region theyu come from. Then they all can carry different diseases that while it may not really affect one species, it can be fatal to the others. And then some of those tortoises are absolutely miserable and will die to being bullied. Have you not noticed how in some of these vids one will be off by itself looking sad? Bullying is a huge thing when you put tortoises toghether. Best to be seperated.... Many reasons. Please educate yourself before you post misinformation, thnks!
How are your tortoises doing? Must be getting big now? Which country are you in. Can put you in touch with other peeps with same species. tortoiseclub . org. :-) we are also on facebook. Hope to hear from you soon. E.

They are really nice looking tortoises but you really shouldn't be mixing species this can lead to diseases and bullying as they grow bigger.

Sorry about your beautiful stars. I hope you separate the rest of them.
