Hafa Adai and thank you for your comment. It looked similar to the vegetable in Guam called Kundot. So I gave it a try. If you find some in San Diego, give it a try. Thanks for all the love and support. Blessings

@@soHOTTsoTASTY Your video on chicken keleguin popped up on suggested videos. Now I do know how to make it but I'm always curious how others make theirs. Then your chicken empanadas popped up and I was like MshottsoTasty your legit. Now I watch you videos to learn it's like watching my aunties and uncle's throw down. Left guam in 87' but still miss our food culture and loved ones. I appreciate YOU.

Hafa Adai and appreciate your feedback. The chicken keleguen version that I have is a simple way to make if you don't want to grill the chicken. I will be posting the authentic way of preparing it island style. 🇬🇺🇬🇺

You have to find the super sharp potato peelers in the Asian market and it's easier to peel whole or even halved provided you can keep the surface as flat as possible or you can put a flour sack towel underneath (find the flour sack towels at Walmart and buy a bunch!)

@@soHOTTsoTASTY you're welcome- I've had problems with peelers before and I've found that the Japanese peelers or the U shaped peelers work the best. I also got a free one from a casino which was a Gordon Ramsey brand- it looked similar to your knife blade and that one also worked really well

@@soHOTTsoTASTY yw, btw this is dinner tonight. My son made it after I forwarded your recipe and it was very good. Substituting kangkoong was good even if it's not exactly like pumpkin tips. You just reignited my appreciation for kangkoong and I hope to eat it with crab and coconut milk soon😋.. Happy holidays!

Hey sweetie - what is the green veggie that you used? I know I had it as a child and since moving stateside resorted to bok choy but really want to get back to origins…the real thing! It looks like pumpkin tips but you called it something else and is it found at most Asian Stores? Thank you!

    • @soHOTTsoTASTY

Hafa Adai and thank you for watching, The green veggie I used was kankoong. You can find it @ your local Asian store but they call it OngChoy. Growing up, my elders used pumpkin tips. Wished I could find that stateside.
Hope you enjoy my channel. Truly appreciate all the love and support.
