My greetings and big respect to India! 🇮🇳 I've been there twice, in New Delhi and Vizag (Andhra Pradesh). Mind-blowing country, I really like your culture. I make fun English videolessons and live vlogs, and I'm also going to create travel vlogs from India 😊

Dear Emma, I have been following your channel for quite some years now. Thank you very much.
I am an English teacher who uses a conversational method to give my classes.
As part of easing the learning curve for my students, I recommend them to watch your prepositions of time and place videos.
Maybe I should begin by telling you how I got my foot in the world of teaching English. It was almost unintentionally; I hadn't been doing very well at college and I flunked a semester so my parents encouraged me to teach one-on-one English, Physics and Math. I bought a small ad at a magazine in my city and that is when I discovered my devotion to English language.
By that time I was starting to study Engineering, but, as a youngster, I didn't want to rock the boat in my family by switching careers.
I feel like I was thrown in the deep end. Well maybe that's a bit of an exaggerated statement. Being the oldest one in a family of 5 siblings gave 😌 me plenty of opportunities to develop intuition, patience and character. Helping with the homework of my siblings and friends made light work of this job.
On the other hand, with my current clients it is essential to bite my tongue so they can learn to self-correct, especially regarding pronunciation.
Again, thank you very much for your extremely valuable lessons, you keep me on my toes professionally.

Grateful for your feedback, dear Emma!
You mightn't believe me but most of these expression are actually new for me! I'm shocked, frankly speaking!.. On the other hand, I could possibly forget about them because of I didn't use them for ages, maybe it's so... What I really know firmly and use it are "call it a day" and "cut corners". The rest of idioms are new for me in fact, imagine??!😳😳😳
Anyhow, I'm delighted to get such an awesome chance to remember or even learn new vocabulary for me, it's exactly what I really need and try to perform every single day! My life has become completely in English!

Thank you again Emma for another helpful lesson. To me, there are something new and something old. But, to keep them my own is to PRACTISE.
