    It should be noted that Vaati mainly focused on the broad strokes of the demigods' stories. He didn't go into much detail for some of them since that would take forever. To the point that he made individual videos dedicated to them.

    See the thing about treating the bits of dragons like we would sharks teeth or such falls apart a little bit because sharks teeth do not give us the ability to breath underwater, swim faster, or smell blood from miles away. Meanwhile the parts of the dragons the Tree Sentinels stole and use absolutely give them the abilities of the dragons they killed, namely control of Draconic Lightning (the red lightning) and literal fire power. They stole the dragons power and used it against them which is classic tactic when you are up against an enemy whose weapons outclass your own.

    I have always held that theory as well that Melina was Marika's child and sibling to the twins. However I do believe that Melina is also the missing Gloam Eyed Queen that was defeated by Maliketh. I think she at one point realized the flaws of the Golden Order and sought a way to remove it and thus learned Black Flame Magic in order to remove her mother and father from power. In response Marika sent Maliketh to defeat her. However since Marika loved her children she refused to allow Maliketh to kill Melina, instead she sealed away the Black Flame using the Rune of Death she gave to Maliketh. She then used the greater will's power to *brainwash* Melina, removing her memories of her own rebellion as well as being daughter to Marika. She was then given a mission to assist a Tarnished of Torrent's choosing by Marika to then fix or remove the golden order. I think she's the Gloam Eye'd queen because of her namesake. Because as we see in the Frenzy Flame ending her previously closed eye is open and it's a nightly dark blue which is implied through the 'Gloam' part of her name.

    10:09 dung eater wasn't born an omen, but is said to have "the heart of an omen". his armor is modeled after an omen because he feels he should've been one.
    his seedbed curse is essentially a transferrable version of omenhood, meaning when he defiles you and implants the curse on you, he's burning your connection to the erdtree and cutting you off from reincarnation. his ending is essentially doing that to everything affected by the grace of gold all at once.
    based on blackguard boggart's last words if you let dung eater get to him, the process is also horrifically painful, since boggart's begging you to just kill him, then dies abruptly.
    why marika saw all that and thought "you know what the world needs? that guy to be unkillable", i don't know, but marika isn't exactly the nicest character around.

      Hey thanks for binging the videos! 😊
      Aww no I have been thinking the dung eater was an omen all this time. I even tell people that! Interesting psychologically... the dung eater is the worst and does the worst things, so he fashions himself after the worst thing he can think of. That really shows just how much people looked down on the omens.
      As for Marika, I keep seeing subtle evidence that she doesn't really want to do the things she does. I think she might hate the outer gods that control her and does things against them in secret. Perhaps this was a route to end the Erdtree?

      yeah, the omens become more and more tragic the more you look into them.
      and marika......i dunno, it's super unclear what her end goal was, you can go so many ways on what the point of all this was, i can't really decode what she wanted at the end.

    Radahn stopping the stars could have also been in attempt to put Miquella's destiny on hold so Radahn could avoid becoming his brothers consort.

      @@kabvrv godrick's proper title is "godrick the golden", which means he must be related to godwyn the golden somehow. the common assumption is son, grandson or further down the tree somewhere, but all the information we have is enia saying "godrick was but a distant relation [to marika]".
      also, the only place in the entire game that dignifies him enough to call him "godrick the golden" is morgott's cutscene at the elden throne, the same cutscene where he calls all of his demigod family "willful traitors".

    The idea of Radahn wearing red hair because he’s a Radagon fanboy is rather ironic because Radagon *hated* his own red hair. You would think Radahn would think that through. Unless he just didn’t know or Radagon didn’t mind.

    • @kabvrv
      @kabvrv  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I would assume he didn't know. Radahn clings to childhood in a way, like how he stays with Leonard despite how silly it is. If a kid looks up to someone, the rest doesn't matter.

      @@kabvrv 👍 yeah. It can be confusing due to all the names being similar. This is what I have found:
      He has lineage back to Marika, Godfrey, and Godwyn. It is unknown how many generations he is separated from them.
      Him being a descendant would explain why he’s so weak compared to the other demigods. With his “diluted” heritage. Making him weaker than the others. Having to resort to grafting to make up for his strength.
      Which is also may explain why he is always calling out the the “forefathers” and “Godfrey” when he beats the tarnished. Wanting approval.
      His weakness may also explain why Morgott defends stormveil and godrick. Putting himself between the tarnished and Godrick. Cause he knows godrick is weaker than the others.

    What’s your favorite demigod in the game in your opinion? Mine is Miquella. Even if we don’t see him properly he is heir to the Golden Order as the oldest child of Marika and Radagon (Malenia confirms she’s the younger sister in Japanese dialogue) and he has proven himself to be a pretty capable leader despite his youth with the sheer amount of different groups support him and how he was willing to create the Halingtree with his own blood. Makes sense since he’s heavily associated with gold, a symbol of perfection in alchemy.

    • @kabvrv
      @kabvrv  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That's really hard but I think Malenia. I admire that she, besides that one tarnished, is probably the toughest being in all the land. Even with the rot, she powers through, and that is pretty kickass. She also is a person with empathy, as shown by her protection of Miquella. She just seems so normal and noble despite her circumstances, just like Miquella, but also tough so she gets the win.

    • @calebgoodman3028
      @calebgoodman3028 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kabvrv I totally agree! Everything she does was to help her big brother and she’s constantly fighting the rot within her to do it! It’s a very beautiful thing to me how much she goes through so much to see a loved one happy pushing through instead of wallowing in despair about her disease. Fits really well with the concept of putrefaction in alchemy too, being the decay of the old self and rebirth of the true self. We know she’s not the same when we face her but her feelings remain true. To be honest she’s only my second favorite because I don’t think she could change the Order as much as her brother because of her rot, if she could be cured then I would’ve put her in on top.
