i personally tend to think that the true curse of miquella, while it initially seems like 'not as bad' as malenia's rot, is the reality of his curse of burgeoning potential. he is eternally in a state of discovering his potential, which means he is cursed to never ever meet that potential. and by being a child forever, he seems to have very naive childlike ideals - ive always seen him as very easily swayed by other people in the same way a child can be. his father spends time with him and praises him, so he becomes a fundamentalist. his sister loves and supports him, so he abandons fundamentalism to help her, but never succeeds. i can see miquella and godwyn spending time together, godwyn telling him all the stories of his glory days as a knight commander for the golden order, telling him how he defeated enemies by befriending them (ie fortissax), and i can see miquella being swayed by that and seeing it as his ideal self. hes tragic not because of a state of unending torture like malenia, hes tragic because he could do so much but is too naive and unfocused to ever meet the potential he has

17:05 from my understanding, the greater will itself doesnt seem to necessarily care all that much what its empyreans (ie marika for example) do in their path to godhood. it only really cares that order in some form is established. thats why the dung eaters ending or the duskborn ending are valid endings. sure to us the concept of 'everyone gets cursed' or 'skeletons are just fine to walk around' might be kinda terrifying, to the greater will its just another form of order being upheld by the elden ring. the golden order, marikas choices, it doesnt seem to care much about. regardless of who wins or who becomes god, as long as the elden ring is intact and order is maintained, the greater will is still in power over all. this is one of the reasons why the frenzied flame ending, where everything is melted away and marika/the elden ring are destroyed, is considered lore wise to be the bad ending, because the greater wills order is completely abandoned entirely

Man I was jumbing in exitement with your fight with Rad Dan and I heard cracks from my stupid cheap office chair and I think I need to buy a new one. Congrats on beating super saiyan Radhan and his creepy incestous god brother. I am currently playing Baldurs Gate 3 and it is incredibly fun, finally getting used to the D&D mechanics and I highly recommend the 10 out of 10 game of the year BG3, it is super fun hope to see you play it.

Great playthrough! Radahn dies to scarlet rot... only to be resurrected and die to... scarlet rot, brilliant! Those freakin' lion guys though, the funny part is how easily the first one could have been just as hard as the frost one but you had some sick side steps and blocks =P the frost one is prolly harder for sure though.

with the greatest of ease, Midra was taken down o7. Yea I think the abyssal woods in general was kind of a let down for most people exploration wise, the build up to it was so good though. It's a shame there wasn't more there.

Bro! Try those Crucible Wings + (two handed) Twinblades. It will make a special attack that strikes several times. Equip Winged Sword Insignia, and Millicent Prosthesis and/or Rotten Winded Sword Insignia (all them raise attack power with successive attacks), and drink Thorny Cracked Tear (same effect as the above talismans). Wear Crucible Armor pieces (each piece adds a damage increase to Crucible Incantations, the full armor adds a lot of extra damage).
