Here Amira chooses to sing Vladimir Fyodorovich Vavilov's Ave Maria in the highest key available, in A Minor (E4-A5), four notes higher than what is normally sung in churches. Of course, Spanish TV treats her like a queen, and the host even introduces her as “one of the best operatic voices in the world”. By the way, A+ for the orchestra. No wonder Spain has a reputation for excellent orchestras. And its synchronism with Amira was absolute. It's incredible to see Amira's extraordinary agility on stage and live, even at the age of 11. The combination of a musical note with the syllable to be sung requires a specific placement of the mouth, lips, jaw, tongue, the muscles of the inside of the mouth and the larynx. These are precise techniques developed over centuries for beautiful singing (bel canto). So the singer has to change this placement from one syllable to another, from one note to another, ideally at very high speed so as not to “break” the flow of the music. Even in great young singers you can see them making this transition, with some effort for the note to come out. But Amira's agility is impressive, we can't see anything, there's no delay, no apparent effort, no mistake, on the contrary, this resulting fluidity makes the music more beautiful, more natural, more impactful. There's nothing more beautiful than a perfect super soprano singing. There's nothing more beautiful than Amira singing.

If you a great performance by her recorded on a cell phone watch her singing Gesu Bambino when she was 18. It's so beautiful you will definitely want to cry. This was truly beautiful and a wonderful example of her going somewhere else while she sings. When she sings songs of faith, it's as though she is standing in the presence of God, singing directly to Him.
First, it's more than a pleasure listening to Amira with her perfect technique at so early age. Next, it's also a pleasure to watch how you, Paul, feel her voice so deeply. Agree that Dimash is amazing, however his version of this is just “Aah”, probably because Ave Maria isn’t appropriate for a Muslim to sing. Bearing in mind that he has had three hours training since he was 5 and Amira taught herself until the age of 9, you can’t really compare them. Dimash is amazing, Amira is angelic!
