Really thoughtful and engaging conversation. My favorite part was when Ron said he wanted to treat his whole career like Garry Marshall treated a season of a TV series (52:48, intro, then 53:52, exposition). It feels like an awesome sense of perspective. And maybe it’s a clue to how to manage a life, being both massively creative, and massively productive. There’s only one question I wish had been asked, and that is, how has Ron nurtured younger players, to become the next generation of directors, writers, editors, etc. I have a feeling that his Pay-It-Forward story would make an interesting documentary of its own. (Thinking back, I think that might have been the content Guy avoided because it was presented in Ron’s Master Class.) Really inspiring interview, thank you.
