- Here’s a Q&A Chat with my actual parents! They flew to Germany from America and we spent an entire week traveling together. I asked you guys for questions on Instagram and you all asked for their opinions on Germany, favorite and least favorite German things, as well as what they think about me living so far away. Your dad's personality is like he is already a stereotypical German 😁 Silent, wise guy who likes beer and the Autobahn, while also being environmentally concious. You should all move here! 😀

Just like America their are I...d..I.. o..t..drivers in Germany. #1 are BMW driver,#2 Audi, #3 Mercedes. Polizei always looking for them. 😂
To answer your dad’s question: 75,000 can fit inside the Allianz Arena in Munich:)

Your parents are so sweet. I think you look like a nice mix of both of them, you definitely got more characteristics of your father's face, but the darker features are so much like your mom's.

I come from Munich and I can highly recommend the restaurant “spicery” which is near Rosenheimer Platz! It’s a Thai restaurant, very authentic and if your father loves a reeally spicey dish: they got a “thai sausage” which is phenomenal! Try it out! Let me know if you liked it! They also have non spicey dishes!

Your personalty seems to be more like your mother ...because your father seems to be more like a quiet thinker type of guy being very reserved and calm while your mom seems to be more the extroverted emotional type ...that might be balancing their relationship out...and both of your parents are very sympathically

I love this video! It's my favorite one of you yet! You guys are so ... for the lack of a better word... REAL and authentic. That's so rare with TH-camrs. I believe that this is absolutely how you would talk to eachother if there was no camera. And the three of you are super sweet!

Just one point, from a german guy, living way up north: the travelling DOES change your life. In a positive way, I think. Always!
It just gives you a better perspective. I kinda grew up with it. My father was a sailor. He once stated , having been to 140 countries in the world. I'm far from that!
And I've always only been in the "western world". Except 1 week in turkey, once. But I'm fine with that.
Just keep on, exploring. Especially, when not coming somewhere as just a tourist. I think that makes a lot of a difference.

I see why your mom thinks you look more like your dad because you definitely have his nose, which is a pretty dominant facial feature, but I think you have more of your mom's face shape and cheek bones. Loved hearing from your parents. We are in Michigan and hosted a student from Berlin. We had a fantastic experience! My two daughters are going to Berlin this summer to stay with our exchange daughter for a month. My husband and I will be there for two weeks. (And Garmisch and Salzburg). Really enjoy your perspective and your parents too.

Your parents are such nice persons. So it's easy to understand how you could have grown to such a lovely person you are. I really love your videos. I always try to watch them. I never managed to travel overseas myself, but had a lot of travel/work years within Europe. Lived In Amsterdam, Dublin, Gibraltar, Brno, Brussels and so on. So that's why I'm intrested in videos of people doing exchanges and how I found your channel. I really hope you will forever have good thoughts in your mind, when you think back about your time here. And please, if you ever have kids yourself, make them travel. Travelling for me is the best thing to work against racism.
You got so wonderful parents. You look exactly like a mashup of the two of them, sitting between them made that quite obvious. Everything seems to be exactly a mix of both like the shape of the head, cheek shape, colors, even the nose. Only thing we can't know about the hair.

The thing with Pretzels is that you lived in Bavaria, it's way more common in the southern part of Germany. I never had a Pretzel in my life :D

Next time take also a Trip to Poland. And East Europe: Kraków Tatra Mountains Budapest and you can drive further to Croatia and and make a great beach vacation f.e. in Sibenik Murter or Zadar

Hi, Montana! I have been watching your videos with great interest. I lived in Germany over 40 years ago. Kennst du die Stadt Kastellaun in Hunsrueck? My husband was in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Flugplatz Hahn: the closest big city was Koblenz. We stayed for over four years and if it wasn't for the coronavirus I would go back in an instant. Deutschland ist ein schoenes land! I remember my experiences as a young woman (about 10 years older than you). We visited the Oktoberfest, Muenchen, Heidelberg, Mainz, Frankfurt am Main and also Passau (before the Amis and all the big cruise ships invaded :) Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. You learned the language very quickly. To get fluent it took me a couple of years. I have forgotten much of it unfortunately. There is a course on Deutsche Welle (kostenlos) that you can use to keep up with German. Your parents are wonderful people to give you this opportunity. My children, unfortunately, have never lived in a foreign country. We would have encouraged them to do so but they had no interest. Good luck to you. I hope you will go back and visit when the virus crisis is over. BTW my husband loved to drive on the autobahn and I never drank beer until I went to Germany. Good luck and all the best to you!

Autobahn is the best. Im german, it is normal for me. But you can always drive faster. Just did 300km/h yesterday and I think it is really nice that we have the opportunity...
