I too love their transparency, one of the best distilleries for providing information. This is a good one for me. It has crept up in price a bit, but still a great dram. Cheers!
I live in Norway and all alcohol is expensive, so all the whisky starts at the same price. I was looking for something new and I grabbed this just because of the bottle. I was shocked how much I loved it! I started googling it to know how to pronounce the name. Than I found out how big palet the distillery has and how popular this whisky is. And now I found this channel, all thanks to the blue bottle, which I also love.

It’s really great whiskey. I love it! I didn’t try it for many years because of a few TH-cam videos where people said it was hard to drink or very complex. But it’s all BS-it's very nice, just like Green Label and Green Spot whiskies.
I really like Bruichladdich. Visited them back in 2017 while staying on beautiful Islay. I like the Laddie but I also like their peated whisky such as Port Charlotte. Lovely review by the way. Cheerio from the former capital of Germany
Port Charlotte is lovely too! We love the deep BBQ flavour of the 10 year old. Great dram! And the super-peated Octomores are lovely too. Much lighter than you expect!

Well that’s a bit strange. Just bought a bottle of this in my way home from work tonight and it comes up in my feed without even a search? I’m starting to think I’m being watched!
Had a few of these over the years. Love that you can look up the batch and see what casks they used. Shame that the SWA made them black out the ages of all but the youngest casks on the website. Cheers
I’d call that bottle Tiffany-blue. It really pops out on a shelf full of other scotch bottles. It got my attention, and I tried it (after confirming it’s no caramel color added). It’s a little too young and harsh for me, compared to a 12 year old like Glenfarclas, Arran or Glendronach. But for only $52, it’s worth the price.
Its definitely does stand out! Entices some and puts others off. Have you found the code on the bottle to enter into the provenance section on the website and get all the info on your batch? Very cool! It's got a tang to it that's not everyone's cup of tea either but an interesting dram for sure!
Brad, as you probably aware, the color of the bottle was developed to appear as the same color of Loch Indaal out the front door of the distillery. So maybe Loch Indaal blue? Slainthe’

For me the Classic Laddie wasn't for me. I had some batches from 2015 and 2017. For me it was too malty at the time. I may have been wanting something peaty.
Marry me! Finally women who like scotch a lot.🤣 Enough joking. I have the 21/203 (code on the bottle) and damn it's a great dram.🥃 Love PC10 and octomore too.
I don't get it. I bought a bottle of this after trying it years ago, only once. I had one drink (neat) and got a mouthful of metal. I brought it into the office for my scotch fan co-workers and quite literally, I could not give this away. Eventually it went down the drain. Absolute trash.
Fantastic whisky for people who want to branch out from Speyside but aren't ready for peat

One of my favourite scotch whiskys. It is a great entry Islay and I love the proof at 50 abv.
