How to use a Manual Speed Tufting Tool | Tufting gun alternative

In this video, we'll be showing you how to use the manual tufting tools. The manual tufting tool, also known as speed tufting tool or hand tufting tool have been around for many years. They have been used traditionally in rug making for generations and are still in use today by carpet artisans in India as an alternative to tufting gun. This is perfect for making fine details as it allows manual control as opposed to the tufting gun.
These are slower than tufting gun but faster than using a punch needle. If you already owned a non-pneumatic tufting gun, these will make great additions to your tufting tools to make different pile types/heights. If you're not ready to invest in a tufting gun, these are also perfect to start your rug making journey.
They come in 14mm cut/loop pile and 45mm cut/loop pile.

I think punch needle by own hands is more easier and comfortable and probably faster? as for me. Just by watching her hands in this video I already feel my hands going numb by that position using hand tufting machine hahaha 😆 but very nice video though ❤️
