I love the irony here, Lindsay told Ellie to watch where she is going after she almost got hit by a car, yet he’s the one who gets hit by a car later on.
Spoiler alert.
What is interesting is the way the dialogue works both when you first watch the movie and also works if you know the plot twist. You first wonder why Lindsey does not freak out when he sees a woman, born circa 1999, dressed like someone he knew in the mid-1960s. Then he does not freak out when she talks about Sandy being killed Finally he gets all volatile when she mentions that she told the police about him.
In her eyes, she sees visions and told the police that he killed Sandy but he thinks that she told the police that he covered up Sandy's killings. Since he knows that Eloise lives with Sandy (Alexandra Collins) he is not surprised by Eloise's actions and he figures Sandy is sending her to torment him.
Now I understand when he says "Alex Killed Sandie" . I love so much Mystery movies with good twist like this
Alex is "Alexander" the old lady. The grown version of Sandy.

I was completely shocked that Terrance stamp was the police officer who tried to help Lindsie years ago.
*Sandie. And yeah, when it comes to that triangle of Lindsay, Jack and Sandie, Lindsay was the Obi-Wan Kenobi to Jack's Darth Sidious and Sandie's Anakin Skywalker.

I was not familiar with Terrence Stamp before but once I saw younger pictures of him, I was surprised on how he and Sam Claflin really resemble each other😲
Yeah when the scene with the cop and Sandie came up in the flashbacks, I immediately thought "That's Terrence Stamp" lol...as in, that's who he was in the flashbacks. Guess I was right. But the voice too

I hated this scene for only one reason, I wanted more Terrance Stamp. Brilliant film, amazing cast.
He is in fact a very good actor

Had this twigged as soon as Sandie met Lindsey in the club thanks to the performance of Young Lindsey. He absolutely nailed Terrence Stamp's mannerisms. Master class!
Sam clafflin is a great actor
The young Lindsey's actor should really portray Jack the Ripper in future movies cause he sure has the looks for it.

see, this is why i prefer direct comms instead of all these vague, Jack-sounding dialogue. it'd have saved Eloise a lotta trouble and possibly not gotten this red herring killed

It would be easier, and better for both of them, if Eloise just asked her boss who's this old man. And for the old man, don't sound so mysterious and creepy. They could end up working together instead!
I would love to know what he was expecting to gain from "i have done a lot of things. You have to be more specific." If she didnt think you were a murderer she is thinking it after that line.
@@TheEneccaI think Lindsay helped sandie cover up her murders rather than him going to his colleagues about the killings. So that’s probably what he means when he said that line.
This was my favorite scene in the movie (Eloise confronting Terence Stamp)

As someone who doesn't know much about "Doctor Who", this makes me wants to stay away from that Matt Smith doctor.

@craigledger4645 You definitely would want to if you were a Dalek or a Weeping Angel. The Doctor before him (David Tennant), even more so. They were together in the 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who. Both of them were badass.

Great movie. I only watched it because I saw that dance scene and was amazed by it so wanted to see whole film. I didn't know what to expect from it and it wasn't what I thought it would be but it was great.

She killed him and wasn't even held responsible for his death
He shouldn't have stepped into traffic and got distracted - same as he warned her in the beginning when he first met her. She obviously should carry some guilt about the argument that distracted him, but she's not legally responsible. It's not like she pushed him.

Eloise causes the death of an innocent man and is not held responsible. In the end, Eloise is a big time success in fashion, meanwhile Linsdey is still dead and this is never addressed in the movie.
thumbs down. Terrible writing. very repetitive scenes in the movie too. Its like a B horror movie at best and at least those are scary.
