Gone but never forgotten ever ❤ RIP IN HEAVEN ELVIS PRESLEY. See you in paradise hopefully one day
As I watch this I realize there can never be another musician like Elvis. Just the way he broke through in the conservative 50’s and changed the whole scene. I don’t want to say it’s all been done now, but when he did it the landscape was wide open. Same with the Beatles for example. Kind of sad to think will never be legends to that level ever again.
We might, once the cash machine of the modern music industry finally breaks down. The problem/beautiful thing with vacuous, artificially-catchy, disposable condom bands like the kind that were popular... exactly 10 years ago, is that they can't maintain their momentum. Iron Maiden played to anywhere between 100,000 and 250,000 people at Rock in Rio 1985. Then they played to even MORE people in Rock in Rio 2001 around 350,000. Meanwhile, the pop acts of the early 2010s, most of which I'm sure you've forgotten about, couldn't outdraw even the lowest estimate of Maiden's crowd. Acts like Maiden have only gotten bigger with time. The pop princesses of yesteryear can only stagnate, because they're not in charge of their music. Thus, they can't evolve and grow.
was Elvis a musician? By definition a musician is some one who can read and write music and play an instrument. Some one who plays an instrument does not have the ability to read and write music but paly an instrument is just another person.
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 well for one thing he has a guitar. Last I checked that’s an instrument. Second, I consider the voice an instrument. Either way it’s splitting hairs. Musician, entertainer - whatever. The guy was a legend.
my boyfriend calls me crazy for singing along to these songs but I grew up listening to Elvis thanks to my grandmother and I watched Lilo and Stitch a lot when I was a kid and they introduced me to Elvis, I absolutely love listening to him. I wish I could have seen him in concert though
I remember watching this with my family. It was the biggest television event ever. I think it was one of the first concerts shown all over the world at the time.
I'm not sure. I am55 years old and I was listening to Elvis and other music from the 1950s when I was a small child. My mother had many 45s and I had my own record player that I shared with my sister. We also had every album that Elvis made. The same is true with Johnny Cash and the Beatles. Instead of going to Florida on Spring Break one year, my roommate and I drove to Memphis and went to Graceland. I was also married in Memphis at the Chapel of the Elvis Impersonator with a Japanese Elvis impersonator and a Pricella Presley impersonator. I owned a velvet Elvis that I bought on a street side in 1984 or so. And how long have you been a fan?

I was born in 1979. I've been listening to Elvis I suppose since I was about 17. I had a picture of him up on my wall at college next to Bruce Dickinson and Slash. For me, a natural performer is someone that makes you smile when you listen to their music. I was washing up this morning, this came on the radio and I grinned like a Cheshire cat. Therefore, Elvis nailed it.
Today my father would have Turned 50 Years old.. he raised me with the king Elvis, Iron Maiden, Prince, Johnny Cash, I could go on for days. He loved His music and loved Rock and Roll.. this song was one his favorite Elvis tunes.. Rest In Peace Dad. I’ll see you again on the other side
He is the best male singer ever. He could go as low as Johnny Cash and as high as Little Richard and everything in between and it was always strong and clear and smooth. Paul McCartney had a similar chameleon type voice and I think he is a genius composer but Elvis Presley was in my opinion the best pure singer. His voice could do anything.
Saw Elvis in Cleveland 1971 and he was LIT! Public Hall was on 🔥, I was 17 and in the front row! That was the highlight of my life besides my daughters birth. Rock on Elvis 💖
Omg, could anyone be ever as absolutely, ridiculously handsome as he was. I have seen very handsome men before in my life, passers by, on the big screen, etc… but this man is on a different stratospheric level.
"Elvis Presley is the greatest cultural force in the twentieth century. He introduced the beat to everything, music, language, clothes; he is a whole new social revolution. Because of him a man like me barely knows his musical grammar any more" (Leonard Bernstein)
The world has been sadder since Elvis left. We (his fans) were cheated when God called him home way too soon. But imagine that in heaven Elvis has been reunited with his parents, his twin brother, Lisa Marie and her son Ben. Someday we may reach heaven and get to hear all the angels sing. You know Elvis would be chief among that number.
I viewed the satellite broadcast live in 1973 and it was revolutionary. Elvis was at the top of his game and he absolutely rocked that concert. So long ago but seems like just yesterday.
I seen him at Roanoke civic center in 1971 with my mom still remember it like it was yesterday...God bless Elvis Presley the greatest vocalist and showman ever !!
Elvis's voice is so phenomenal that he doesn't need any acoustics or backup singers. He looks great here, and his voice is nothing but phenomenal. The King of rock and roll, 4-Ever & Always. There was only one Elvis and Noone will ever top him.

This man was burning love. He'll set any woman on fire. He's just a hunk hunk hunk of burning love. We all love you and miss you 💘 Wish so bad you were still with us. Impossible. Dream to this day. Elvis what more can. I say. Love you so much. It breaks my heart you b even gone. It's been 45 years since you been. Gone and it seems like yesterday. Gone but never forgotten ever ❤ RIP IN HEAVEN ELVIS PRESLEY. See you in paradise hopefully one day
The greatest singer ever born of man. None better.
@@1krani no one will ever be compared to elvis
@@gns_tyson6878
Except Chuck Berry, the man who invented the genre.
Elvis didn't disappoint, still the greatest entertainer in the history of music!
Always the greatest entertainer! Forever and always!!
Elvis Aaron Presley -- 1935-1977 -- A Legendary Performer
This song cooks. Hard to sit still when the King is jamming.
Love this song from Elvis, RIP king 👑
He looked great 73...
He was a 38 in 1973.
The King’s rhythm section is sublime. Scheff and Tutt are amazing.
Yes they are…RIP Ronnie Tutt🥁🥁🥁
Those rings were on point
He’s on point …the rings just add to it.
My dad was a huge Elvis fan. May he R.I.P 04/27/21.
Grande inarrivabile ❤❤❤❤❤
Elvis knew the King ! He disliked being called the King . He felt he did not deserve the title .
Haha but no problem wearing the suit?
Love to I am
Not his jump 1
Burning love easily one of his best tracks. I like 70s elvis
Uses his voice for his own echo. Awesome!
I love all of his music. But this is my most favorite.❤
Self taught singer. Tremendous range. Epic stage presence.
my boyfriend calls me crazy for singing along to these songs but I grew up listening to Elvis thanks to my grandmother and I watched Lilo and Stitch a lot when I was a kid and they introduced me to Elvis, I absolutely love listening to him.
Ur 55 meaning u were born in 1968 yet listening to the king since the the 50s... What a fuckin dope u are
Notre génération l'oubliera jamais
The BIGGEST STAR ⭐ IN THE WORLD. THE KING 👑 WAS BEFORE MY TIME. BUT EVERYONE ON THIS PLANET KNOWS WHO ELVIS PRESLEY IS!!
He will ALWAYS and FOREVER be 'The GREATEST SHOWMAN!!!' ..... sigh .....
No the showman is Johnny Hallyday, the French Elvis
Michael Jackson will always be the greatest onstage performer of all time
@@luigi562 This is the correct answer BUT Elvis was amazing too....2 Kings in their own right..
@@reefkayoss in terms of selling music michael jackson has sold 750 million records, and elvis 1 billion which makes him the most sold artist of all time, but michael jackson is better dancer
@@aaafingerboarding yeh but Elvis also recorded way, waaaay more albums thn MJ...anyway i love both of em so i wont argue wit anyone who says Elvis is King jus as i wont argue against MJ being top dog either...tho i think the Beatles have sold more records thn Elvis and MJ....doesnt really mean anything tho...record sales are not a good way of measuring talent...Ed Sheeran has sold 10s of millions of albums n he sucks!!
It always amazed me that the colonel was able to keep Elvis from touring outside of the states, and yes, I know why he did it. Can you imagine Elvis playing in Europe or Japan?
Andreas van Kuijk, and Phineas Taylor Barnum, they both were "SHYSTERS" heck!! they could even be related."Those two Birds Of A Feathers Flock Together"
fantastisch mooi
My most favorit Elvis song ever !
Happy 85th Birthday in Heaven, Elvis! Still The King!
Oh yeah the King of Rock n roll but th ers ultimately 1st and only King is Jesus Christ but I get what you're saying Brother and but in essence in reality that Elvis Presley s is still one of the best singers of all next to others I'm a classic all guy pretty much open to traditional stuff cause I was raised on the stuff and pretty much stay that way I guess but no wrong no shame but some new songs are good but pretty much the classic also are pretty better for now too me.have a nice day a stay safe=sanitize everything in your household including washers and dryers and stay away more than 55 or feet from every body including people and bars of over 300 Dial antibacterial soap period at Walgreens brother and make it known too as many and beyond that many much people as u can including your family etc God bless ya and Amen. Nickname=GLVIS
I meant 300 bars of Antibacterial Dial soap and my prayers go to extremely extraordinary healing for the people in all over the world.
The dumbest person of Our Times is Donald Trump and my prayers for him to get a vaccine to heal and cure all of the sick people of Our Land now period and by the way Happy 85th birthday Elvis Presley above
Wish so but if you kw there's only one religion in the world like it or not IT'S Islam yes Go search and you will find evidences i wish all the people will know that
Good❤️♥️
I was born in 1979.
His voice was a gift from God!
@@kevinmcnicholas5624 corona's also a gift from god. 😄😄😄
I was born in 79 also, Elvis is the greatest singer ever
I am a 79er,too and i listen to him,the Beatles and Michael Jackson since i was 8 years old. Greetzzz from germany.
Elvis was an angel sent by God

Today my father would have Turned 50 Years old.. he raised me with the king Elvis, Iron Maiden, Prince, Johnny Cash, I could go on for days. He loved His music and loved Rock and Roll.. this song was one his favorite Elvis tunes.. Rest In Peace Dad. I’ll see you again on the other side
R.I.P
Sorry for yr loss. Only thing worse than losing parents is losing kids imo
The first concert broadcast worldwide over satellite....appropriately, by the greatest performer of ALL TIME !!!

The man can do no wrong! This is one song you can't help but have a good time listening to! Sorry Wynonna, can't unseat the king.
Long live the king. Artists like this do not exist anymore.
Hey dear how are you doing over there ?
Saw Elvis in Cleveland 1971 and he was LIT! Public Hall was on 🔥, I was 17 and in the front row! That was the highlight of my life besides my daughters birth. Rock on Elvis 💖
Wow that's nice, Elvis is a great singer and he will forever be missed, so tell me how long have you been an Elvis fan??

Omg, could anyone be ever as absolutely, ridiculously handsome as he was. I have seen very handsome men before in my life, passers by, on the big screen, etc… but this man is on a different stratospheric level.
"Elvis Presley is the greatest cultural force in the twentieth century. He introduced the beat to everything, music, language, clothes; he is a whole new social revolution. Because of him a man like me barely knows his musical grammar any more" (Leonard Bernstein)
That is one great quotation!
Elvis Aaron Presley -- 1935-1977 -- A Legendary Performer
I always hear people say who knew him how generous a person Elvis was. He was a rare diamond with huge talent, gone way too soon. Rest easy King
MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN A WOMAN!!! GONE BUT NEVER WILL BE FORGOTTEN!!💙 💚💚 LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING 💚💚😭😭😭😭
Agree, his beauty was stunning
The world has been sadder since Elvis left. We (his fans) were cheated when God called him home way too soon. But imagine that in heaven Elvis has been reunited with his parents, his twin brother, Lisa Marie and her son Ben. Someday we may reach heaven and get to hear all the angels sing. You know Elvis would be chief among that number.
I viewed the satellite broadcast live in 1973 and it was revolutionary. Elvis was at the top of his game and he absolutely rocked that concert. So long ago but seems like just yesterday.
This is the most watched concert in television history. Elvis Presley is truly The King!
Damn he had a smokin' band. Wow. But yeah, this here is the entertainer all others are measured by. The greatest of all time.

Elvis has the voice of I am Angel and

Elvis is, was, and always will be the MAN.! Period! That dude was unreal. My Mom loved him...cried when he died..

Elvis's voice is so phenomenal that he doesn't need any acoustics or backup singers. He looks great here, and his voice is nothing but phenomenal. The King of rock and roll, 4-Ever & Always. There was only one Elvis and Noone will ever top him.
