    I'm looking at buying a used Lamotte Spin Touch for my salt water pool. The model on the bottom of the unit is RMN 26830, I was wondering if you knew if this is the 3581 model or not? What does your model number read on the bottom of your spin touch?

      Some places will test your water free if you take it to them in a bottle. America and Australia have different codes. 3580 and 3581 i think.

    Will this print out a sheet of how much of what chemical to add to the pool?

      Yes they can be connected to a computer and give you a printable sheet including what chemicals to add. The software is called "WaterLink®" and "DataMate®" Software
      Some pool shops have them in store.
      I personally do not use that feature however as I do not need it.
      Hope this helps, feel free to ask for any more info 👍

    Whats the difference between disk 203 and 204?

    • @hughbart.images
      @hughbart.images  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      203 includes Iron. Not a lot of difference. I just stick to 204 now. Very reliable. Dont like the new packaging however

    Do we throw away used discs? Or we can use them again?

    what is the model for salt water aquarium use ?

    • @hughbart.images
      @hughbart.images  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry for the delay replying. You would be after the FF model (fish farming). It does your Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite and all those. Then just get the disk you need for what you want to test.
      They basically look the same as the one in this video. I hope this helps.
      FYI I am not sponsored or work for the people who sell these.

    I’ve started using the 601 pods, and now my spin touch keeps saying no measured section?

    • @hughbart.images
      @hughbart.images  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Id say contact whoever you got the spinlab off and find out why. You can
      also get Lamotte do diagnose it remotely. Unless it needs to be updated.

    What is the latest firmware update for the spintouch fx?

    • @hughbart.images
      @hughbart.images  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not 100% sure haven’t done an update on mine for a while. You plug it into the computer to update it over the internet.

    • @hughbart.images
      @hughbart.images  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bought mine from Lamotte in Sydney Australia. At the time I think $1500 roughly. I use it every day for work purposes.
