Well, so much for a break. I couldn't believe you mentioned the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Mine is literally by my side right now and I have not even opened it. I discovered that my Canon DSLR was having issues and since I live in a small village in Northeastern Brazil surrounded by Bulls, Pigs, Cows Chickens but no BEST BUY I knew that if I was not proactive, I would not be able to shoot video. I had to arrange for my wife who was visiting our daughter for Mother's Day in MD. to pack it into her luggage when she came back. Of course, my Ultra Expensive DJI aka "mortgage payment" was in the luggage when the luggage was lost in Belem, Brazil. Anyway, good things happened, and I am literally not letting it out of my site until I do the video part of my episodes. - Roddie😎
Bummer about the gear. Not gonna lie, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is one of the best pieces of gear I've ever bought!

Is the editing easy to use and understand? Where would I find a good tutorial for beginners of their platform?

Do those mics plug straight into a cell phone ?
Would you recommend a clip-on lav mic for talking on camera ?
Some do but may need an adapter. Lavs are good, I just don't use one hardly at all. More of a fan of a shotgun mic on the camera or a wireless mic clipped on my shirt.

I have a mic which I use for podcasting on Audacity but I record videos through my phone. Is there a way to link up the audio from Audacity to my video?
Haven't used Audacity. Depending on what you're using to edit your videos, you might be able to sync the video and audio. I use Final Cut Pro and its easy.
Is the discount through your code for the total annual fee?
Good question. I think you'd get it on either. Not trying to convince you to do annual, but I typically do annual when available to save money.
Hi Kevin... when I looked up the Riverside Link... and at the pricing... each option is based on number of hours of multi track recording... is that per month? Which plan do you have? What is that enough time to record?
The hours are per month. I'm on the Pro plan which for me is plenty. You can always delete old recordings to save space too.
@@KevinKolbe So like ScreenPal your videos can be uploaded for them to store and provide a link for embedding into a website?
Not familiar with ScreenPal. In Riverside, you can share a direct link to the video or download it and upload it anywhere. I only publish to TH-cam so I use a TH-cam link to embed on my website.
Wait… Riverside? I guess I should check that out. That’s where it all gets confusing.. editing. When I see it shown on peoples TH-cams it just looks crazy and way over my head. I’m an artist so it looks like math and left brain to me. Yikes! 🍃🌸🍃
Maybe start without editing. Shoot it straight or live stream.
