As I watched this and read the comments about Brian doing nothing, it appeared to me that maybe, just maybe, Brian was sad and deep in thought of Carl singing the lead on this song as he did when he was alive. Please don't criticize Brian's lack of playing because if it weren't for him, there would be no Beach Boys. Just seeing him live on stage is a dream come true for most people.
Yes…..just enjoy and take a minute to curb your critical spirit

Darian Sahanaja has to be one of the most talented individuals in the music industry.
Love this song and the performance is magnificent! Still miss Carl singing and playing this on his guitar. 😊❤
If I was sitting in the middle of that group, as Brian is, and the song was a tribute to my departed brother, I'd be nearly frozen, too. Beautiful performance.

I saw them in concert in Las Vegas about five years ago.. It really was a treat. The live Music and harmonies were spot on with the records. Was A great night. Wonderful musicians all
I've seen them twice but with Mike Love at the State Fair in Oregon. I'd love to see Brian and Al. Mikes band was perfect, spot on all harmonies and music

I saw Brian on this tour. Al Jardine still has the pipes but Brian was like a statue. Was pretty sad.
Brian can still sing when it's his part. He has MAJOR back issues , hence the statue , please give him a break
And Brian has more than paid his dues!!! I can be in low spirits, feeling sad, driving down the highway… when I play The Beach Boys, and WHAM!!! I am back on the beach in my mind, lifeguarding, tanned, and happy!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Darian Sahanaja, he's in my opinion, the mastermind behind the current lineup. A musical genius in his own right, and a perfect fit with Brian.
I saw Parliament/Funkadelic in concert a little over 10 years ago. Much the same thing. George Clinton walked out (Not looking much like George Clinton at all. I'll take their word it was him), said a few things then sat in a chair and chilled while the band (zero original members) played. They sounded great but came across as an officially sponsored tribute band. At least Brian still looks like himself..... and the band and singers are fantastic.

Unfortunately Brian is no longer capable of singing the way he did nor function as he once did mentally. Always was the heart of The Beach Boys along with brothers Carl and Dennis. Mike Love and associates just get by using the name and mostly get by on the outmoded car songs and barely do that.
Saw Mike to a packed house. If you don't go you won't know. But they were great so was the setlist. 1 week ago.
The band really carries the show.
I saw the Pet Sounds 50th year anniversary in 2016. It was really good, although Brian's voice wasn't what it was.
I saw them again in 2019. Brian had to be helped on and off the stage. It took half the concert for his voice to sound reasonable.
Sad. Al Jardine, his son, and the rest of the band were great, but don't expect much from Brian.
