i am a LaRue fanboy, but I truly love and enjoy, and have a lot of MI partsm items, tools etc.. They make good solid stuff. and if i had a nice budget, i would soo get this ! i want to super cool my Dad's 30-30 one of these days from MI
I cannot own real rifle as I live in the UK however I try and replicate your builds on my airsoft guns and I just wanted to say that you are a great youtuber and your videos are surprisingly entertaining to me even when I don't understand half the things that you say.
This channel is my new favorite guntoob and honestly gonna help destress most of the free time I get so thank you sir! You know your boys gotta give u hell about that deep cinematic gravy voice of yours you sound like Mike Rowe had a kid with eeyore
I've given this same recommendation to several based on specs alone. This is a rifle that many might build if building a premium rifle from scratch, except the trigger. Great feature set for the money.
Midwest Industry rails are honestly so underrated. Sure they may not have fancy lockup like DD, Geissele, or even Aero's rails, but MAN are they easy to throw on a rifle. They are truly robust enough for 99% of users, even folks that demand hard use out of their rifles. Plus they look fantastic
The nightfighter handguard also has an extended barrel nut similar to G$ handguards for better zero retention on night vision and probably some barrel deflection. Really adds to that value you’re getting for the money.
I purchased the 16inch complete night fighter upper and have loved it. I also have the combat flip up sights and.. twice the screws have not held up to the 35 inch pound torque spec from Midwest Industries. I ordered a replacement set of screws for cheap, and those also failed. Contacting their customer service via email led nowhere, nor has calling. The sights aren't my favorite anyway so I'm not totally bummed but I would've at least liked an acknowledgement of the issue (others on forums have my same problem, also left on read by MW). The upper is my absolute favorite I've ever purchased and the only thing holding me back on the 11.5 night fighter upper is the fact that I'm not sure I can actually rely on their customer service should something more serious occur in the future.
You should try a little bit of thread lock with your screws, make sure it's blue thread lock not red, I use the blue thread lock on my screws for my Red Dot on my 45 pistol, it doesn't take much just one drop on the threads on the screw
Midwest Industries is one of the top companies out there. It blows my mind that more people don’t know about there rifles. Price to qualify control, performance and reliability there’s BCM and Midwest Industries hands down. They are a duty work of art.
The new Gen 3 Rein 3.0 switches have easier cable management options, but they don’t do as good of a job at hiding the cable as the old ones. I’m still going to end up buying one of the new switches when the dual lead option comes out though..
Thanks for the review! I haven’t been able to find much information about their rifles. I did an 10.5 build with their combat rail and it’s solid. The rifle looks great with all the specs but not many have done a review till now. Would you say this rifle is over gassed? Wanted to know the buffer system they use. Thanks again for all you do!
Especially considering this is a naked firearm for 1500. You can grab a PSA 556 for sometimes under 550 sale, which allows you to get optics ,light, mags, muzzle device, and maybe more for still cheaper than this "budget" rifle. This is a nice rifle, but especially in the current economy , 1500 to start is not budget .
Id say it's a budget rifle for the high end maybe, it's more mid tier though. I personally consider $1000 and under budget, under $2000 over $1000 mid tier, and anything over that high end or gucci. Depends on your definition of budget though.
I may be stupid but when you have the weapon light that much further up and without the suppressor, does the muzzle blast affect the weapon light at all?
That’s valid. Nothin wrong with a setup like that, but you lose some of the nice things like the criterion barrel, radian talon and raptor, and the b5 stock.
@@GUNMENusa yes but you can find both uppers on sale frequently throughout the year both with hammer forged barrels and much better rail systems imo and pair that with a complete BCM mk2 blem lower which you can find on sale at primary arms for around 400$ shipped just my two cents if ppl are willing to keep an eye out for those sales you're getting much more rifle for your money and for the record I do like what Midwest industries is doing I use their reaction receiver rods and lower vise assembly block and combo wrench hands down some of the best tools out there if you're into assembling your own that being said their rifle is a great turn key option I think it's just a little steep price wise
BCM hands down. They have a very much proven track record and their standards are higher than even top dollar Gucci manufacturers. Their price to performance is unmatched right now.
Haha I don’t modify my voice. I did add a denoiser to this one to reduce the fuzz noise in the background so that may have messed things up a little. My bad haha
Your Kit Page has saved me a ton, and introduced me to some really high quality stuff. Only hiccup I’ve had was purchasing a barrel from US Arms Co. Would not work with multiple debit and credit cards. Called in, wound up talking to the owner, who was super cool btw. Said he would send me one, never got 1. Disappointing. But the kit page lifetime paid for itself in about 10 minutes lol
I love this!!! Crap man I’m so sorry about US arms co, they unfortunately came under new management and I lost my contacts there. They should be up and running again soon! I hope they take care of people the way they did when my favorite dudes worked there. Stoked you saved a ton of money though that makes me so happy 🙏🏼
@@GUNMENusa I would definitely still buy from them, they were moving buildings and I’m 1 guy having a problem trying to buy a heavily discounted barrel (TY btw), all good, they make seriously good stuff, and like I said they were super cool. I share the knowledge you pass on to any that are willing to listen. Sharps BCG and Dev charging handle are 🔥. What do you think of Blackout Defense?
Dark background, black shirt, black rifle...perfect! Now i can see everything clearly.
love the channel keep up the great work awesome videos !

Heck yeah dude! They make solid stuff and yes I love the verity Midwest offers!
You’re not alone. Larue is jam up! Wish they didn’t increase all their prices though
Anyone else see this on the kit page because you’re constantly window shopping online and was not so patiently waiting for this video? Just me okay
I cannot own real rifle as I live in the UK however I try and replicate your builds on my airsoft guns and I just wanted to say that you are a great youtuber and your videos are surprisingly entertaining to me even when I don't understand half the things that you say.
Hey it was great bumping into you and meeting you at the Soldier Pass outside range in Saratoga Springs a week ago! Great channel and keep shooting!

I’m obsessed with Midwest Industries hand guards
Does the $1500 budget include the silencer, flashlight, and optic?
No
This is the Midwest model, where is the FLORIDA model?
You’ll have to donate money for an answer: it’s paywalled.
South east industries? Lol
It’s called an ati hybrid omni
Boooooooo
10 outta 10 on the Dad humor 😂
Cloud Defensive recommends that you mount the inline torrent mount on your 2nd to last mlok slot so that it can be fully supported by the rail.
Haha you’re not wrong. I just don’t like running it light that.

Your videos are ASMR dude. Love this content. Excellent style all around.
Great work.
I had to change by buffer weight to an h2 and a new spring to get a better ejection

Great video as always!
one of my fav channels right here. The cinematography is just *chefs kiss* and the concise reviews and the theme around the channel is great.
Great video and rundown (as always).... but make sure that safety is on!!
That is a beautiful weapon man!
I have been waiting for this
How come you don’t use Cloud Defensive build it wire management
Nice rifle. I agree about the X2 Dev Group charging handle. The best. :)
Great video. What BUIS are you using?
How does this compare to the WATCHTOWER TYPE 15 for the same price range?!
This place is near my house. I’m gonna go check this out tomorrow.
Yooooo you coming to the range day on the 20th?
Y'all ship worldwide?
Awesome gun but 1500 is not budget when you can buy a PSA for $600
Especially considering this is a naked firearm for 1500. A PSA for $600 is 2-3 MOA at best.
I like midwest industries but their Zenitco PT-1 clone stock doesn't hit the mark. It folds with a light slap, even with a heavy shouldering.
I may be stupid but when you have the weapon light that much further up and without the suppressor, does the muzzle blast affect the weapon light at all?
Great question actually! I haven’t had any issues with the cloud lights. But it does leave a black carbon mark for sure haha
@@GUNMENusa ah alright, cuz I’ve seen that on your rifles for some time now and always wondered that
I would much rather have a complete BCM or put a geissele super duty on a BCM lower for that much money
That’s valid. Nothin wrong with a setup like that, but you lose some of the nice things like the criterion barrel, radian talon and raptor, and the b5 stock.

What are your favorite barrel lengths for AR-15’s?
Hello on your 300 blackout build what the length of the handgaurd please 😊
What height unity riser do you prefer running? Been looking into getting one.
Pay him and he’ll answer.
bu kanal 135 milyonu da takip ediyor :)
yürüüü...
adamsın ...
This versus a BCM? Which one are you picking?
BCM hands down. They have a very much proven track record and their standards are higher than even top dollar Gucci manufacturers. Their price to performance is unmatched right now.
BCM
Damn, I never knew Brandon Buckingham had a gun channel. 🤔
Dude....I wish this was an option years ago.
Top three if you had .? Or five
You are using a voice modifier correct? Does sound bit off lol 😅
Haha I don’t modify my voice. I did add a denoiser to this one to reduce the fuzz noise in the background so that may have messed things up a little. My bad haha
Samuel if you want to give that rifle away to a friend, I know someone
Hahahahahahahahaha oh Nate ol buddy ol pal
Excellent choice
Midwest industries, bcm, and criterion: all Wisconsin companies 🧀
Can you make a Remington build? Love the channel btw 😁

Safety off, mag loaded, flagged yourself at 3:10 😮
Man i just love your videos! They are so satisfying to watch, from 🇷🇺 with love
Ehh I mean for 1500 I think id probably just buy a BCM. Still a nice rifle though.
Found this channel 2 years ago and haven't gone back.
bcm aero gang would like to have a word for 70% the price lol
Why kit page is behind a paywall on your website?
Helps fund the channel! I’ll never be able to do this full time if I didn’t have the KIT page, so I’m grateful to everybody who becomes a member.
Don’t pay this dork a penny.
Wouldn't mind a patch with that end credit logo and label on it brother's!?
The stock is NOT BCM !!
😢 sad cause i live in california.
U gun is over gassed.
Damn, I really was wearing black. 1:18
Lol
brother $1500 is not budget, youre rich af we know
1st
No tag line? 😢 I’m hurt
This dude is on drugs charging for gun tips people get for free.... you put me too sleep anyway.
lol I don’t charge for tips… the video you just watched was free.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂... BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER BUT THAT RIFLE IS UGLY
retain that damn cable!
completely agree, I actually did after I finished filming the video haha good catch though.
Man shoot some .308s what’s with all the repetitive little boy stuff? I swear you’ve made the same rifle like 3-4x & I love your channel 100%
