A mysterious black hole recently discovered near Earth

  • The European Space Agency (ESA) has released three stellar-mass black holes discovered near Earth from data observed by the Gaia space telescope.
    They are "Gaia BH1, Gaia BH2, and Gaia BH3," meaning black holes discovered by Gaia.
    In particular, Gaia BH3, which was released in 2024, is said to be the largest stellar-mass black hole discovered in our galaxy and a binary black hole.
    Let's take a look at how the stellar-mass black hole, which is as difficult to find as a needle in a haystack, was discovered.

    블랙홀...욕조에 배수구 뚜껑 뽑으면 물이 소리내고 회오리치며 빠져나가는 그런 현상? 그 현상이 지속되는 현상. 그 물은 우주에선 중력이 될 듯 합니다만....

    초신성 폭팔이 있으면 중성자별이 됩니다. 블랙홀은 초신성 폭팔을 하기전에 순식간에 중력붕괴해서 블랙홀이 만들어집니다.

      예, 맞습니다. 다만 초신성 폭발 후 중성자별이 되는 경우는 주계열성(성인별)이 태양 질량의 8~30배일 때이고, 그 이상 그러니까 태양보다 30배 이상인 경우는 블랙홀이 됩니다. 어느 게 맞는 지 찾아 보시기 바랍니다. 감사합니다.
