For me, this song will forever be a reminder of my lonely nights spent in a completely unknown place in a foreign country where I came to study. Even after a few months I still didn't manage to fit in, I didn't get any friends... I constantly feel out of place. Uni is not as I imagined. It's not as entertaining, crazy and amazing as my previous high school. People are cold and distant. I have an irresistible feeling that I have already lived my best time and life will never be as happy as it used to be.
As I walk in the evening and listen to this song, I recall my family and best friends I left behind. I miss them. There really is no place like home.

I was Stationed overseas in Korea, I got depressed, I wanted to go home to my family but then I realized there really wasn't a family to go home to; Just a broken and lost resemblance of my family. I wanted to go home to my beautiful house, happy parents, my oldest brother visiting from college, my other brother ready to play connect four. I knew that when I did go home there was just going to be a mother struggling, a distant brother, estranged father, and brother in prison. That home wasn't there anymore, I would just listen to this song thinking of my home that use to be and knowing that there was no place like it that made me feel so safe and happy.

Somehow our situation was kinda same, my parents still together and my home was still there, but it's never feel the same anymore.
I miss this kind of sound from HONNE. The feels from the Warm on a Cold Night EP. I wish they made more songs like this again. I love everything new they put out, but I really miss this “old sound” of theirs.

I was in Japan for the entire summer this year, which was the worst and best summer ever..long story lol. During the flight back home this song came up on my spotify playlist, and I started to cry quietly, because everyone on the plane was already sound asleep. Now, every time I hear this song I just start to reminisce my time in that beautiful country.

Personally, home is not a building. Home is never a roof with comfy things in it where you can chill and feel relaxed all day long. Home, to me, is the vibe we enjoy, the atmosphere we used to inhale exhale, the people with love. That is home to me.
In my current situation, home is a person i love. We met eachother from college and it was beautiful. But distance always have been the problem, she lives in a different part of my country. For the first couple of months it was okay, everything was going well, it was heaven for me. However in the midst of corona my significant other just commited break up with me. With the pandemic situation making it worse, honestly i feel very much depressed. Not being able to talk to anybody upclose is very difficult, really feeling like a douche now. I need my home, the things she made me feel, i deeply miss her love and pressence.
