I suddenly realize why cherry blossoms are shown at the end. Cherry blossoms are a representation of the Japanese concept of 'mono no aware' - that there's a deep beauty in the impermanence of things. Cherry blossoms bloom for only a short time, and the sadness of this fact is built into its beauty. Our protagonists exist in this space for only a night, and there will be no night like this ever again. Because of that, this night is infinitely more special than any other night will ever be to either of them. Perhaps, the wistful longing that will follow them the rest of their lives was worth this one night.

Speaking from personal experience, be careful when you share Honne music with someone you've fallen for. And if/when heartbreak happens, don't allow your emotions to ruin the music for you. Allow it to live on its own.
funny thing about this is that I discovered this song a year ago and wanted to share it with my girlfriend but she broke up before I could even show her, well...
Couldn't agree more. I shared this song to a boy I loved for four years (well up until now) and he ended up loving another girl a few months later. This song still reminds me of him every time I listen to it. Worst feeling but somehow brings back the good good feeling and memories.
This song was sent to me by a girl that I loved. She was a transfer student and I was a freshman in University. I fell in love, and so did she with me, unfortunately only at the end of her time her in my city did we find that out. She left, we kept in connection every day for a year, and finally I flew out on my own and met her in another country, neither our own. We found each other, and for a few days we were together, but we lost contact due to her losing her phone. She went to another city for a while, as she tried to get another phone, and I was lost in a country that I couldn't speak the language. I met with relatives and stayed with them for a while, she managed to get another phone and she met with me again. We spent a week in a world away from the world we knew, just the two of us. During that time I felt love, jealousy, lust, and forlorn because we both knew that after that, we were done. We left, her to the next transfer school and I went back home. We tried to continue to message each other, but we knew that we were done. One of the last things she messaged me was this song. It speaks well to our story and our feelings, and I felt liking sharing it, sorry it was so long.
hey you know what whenever i remind of this song i also remind of your story it totally adds a new vision for this song you have just created a new music video of this song thanks heaps for sharing your beautiful memory much appreciated
I kinda miss this genre of HONNE. I also love the new music they’re releasing today. But this era really is golden. The Warm on a Cold Night era. I miss it.
This video brings some tears to my eyes, it made me remember when my high school best friend told me that "he was gay and he was in love with me", i was raised in Christian Family and in that time i believed being gay was a sin, so i told him that i loved him like a brother. (I thought I was straight despite not having a girlfriend). We decided to stay friends, but as the years passed i started to feel something different everytime i saw him. I didn't know what it meant until in my final days of Senior year that i realized i was in love with him. I was really scared but i had decided to confess my feelings in our last day of senior year. But sadly he never came to our last day of senior year, some days later a group of classmates told me that he moved away with his family because his father was promoted, i tried my best to find him but i never saw him again. Right now, i still remember him as a beautiful memory and thanks to him i realized i'm gay, he'll always have a special place in my heart. Despite i haven't found someone to love, I only hope that he's with someone who deserves him. Sorry for any mistake, english isn't my first language.
This song is cathartic in a bittersweet way. Often we associate songs with the people who showed them to us, and sometimes those people don’t stay in our life forever. I still find comfort in the song though and haven’t stopped listening even though there was a time when it was really painful to hear. Friendships and relationships can be fleeting but the memories and connections we shared with those people are eternal, no matter if those connections end. And if you feel like someone ruined a song for you, share the song with someone else you care about ❤️
This is beautiful...yet it slaps me the daymn truth. Three years ago I met a guy, fell in love with then he just suddenly disappeared. He sent me the late night version of this song before days he disappeared. I was over kilig when he sent me this to listen not really knowing its meaning that time lol. It was then my love for Honne's music born. That is why, it is already three years ago yet I'm still coming back here 😊
One of the greatest things about this song is reading the comments of so many people who tell their stories because they resonate with either the imagery or the lyrics of this video. 🤩
Have you guys realized in the video, theres a scene where they touch/observe plastic cherry blossom, but when theyre alone the real cherry blossom rains over the guy. In my interpretation, i think that the love was never real between them, atleast for the girls part. But cherry blossom symbolizes the season of new beginning, meaning that them not together is actually the reality of their new beginning, for their path was never meant to be merged.
Thanks for the hint. I didn't think about the cherry blossoms as well. I would argue that she cannot love him because of the fact that she is a geisha. During the video you could see her dressing in these really fancy traditional clothes. In the end, I guess she chose her profession before her love. In japan geisha cannot be married so she can't stay with him any longer. I actually feel sad for them but it is also kind of peotic in a way. O~O
I lived in Japan and married a Japanese woman . She is not a full Geisha look at her dress. She is a Micco which is a Geisha in training. It's very romantic because if you Japanese culture, she cannot be in a relationship without giving up her profession. She breaks his heart because she chose her profession. Like a true Japanese woman I love how she blew him off for the first dive in kiss. But in true fashion she succumbed after he showed his honest desire. Whom ever made this video thank you for casting Asian actress in a non stereotypical role. Great video
I feel in love with a girl while I was in Tokyo. She was from Morocco and I was from America. We made eye contact and smiled at each other at a pachinko parlor (Japanese gambling) after an employee yelled at me not to take photos. After that we just started talking, sharing about each other's lives, and learning we had so much in common despite being from completely different parts of the world. After that we got drunk on the streets and danced around Shibuya Crossing, holding hands in the street after spending just less than a day together. It was an amazing time. The imagery in this video reminds me so much of that night. We only had 2 days to spend together but the connection was real, like something from a movie. We messaged back and forth for a bit, but her being on the other side of the planet makes it hard to be together. We gradually stopped talking, but I still think about her every now and then... I wonder if she does the same. That was 9 months ago. I hope to see her again soon.
Seems like a common occurrence in Tokyo. It happened to me too. Met someone, fell crazy in love real fast, spent the time I had there with him. Then we visited each other a few times but when push came to shove, neither of us were ready to move over something that seemed too good to be true. On his last visit to where I live to discuss these things more seriously, one night he got drunk and hit me. Made it easy to end it there, made me realize it really was too good to be true, ruined the most beautiful memories I'd ever had with a person. I wish I kept the romance where it belonged- abroad, and in our hearts. Instead we put ourselves through more pressure than we needed and it wasn't for the best in the end. I wish we were both strong enough to walk away sooner. The fact that we couldn't, in retrospect, is either the most beautiful romance ever, or a huge red flag. In my case with him, it was the latter.
Eh, @Leenda it's okay, but overrated imo.... she obviously didn't want him, he's left searching her country for her (a one night stand with nothing in common) like an idiot. Opposites don't always attract, it's best to stay to similar types overall/realistically. IF they even care, the person WILL somehow let you know.😶 I know of this firsthand✋🏻. I like Honne 🎶 though.👍🏽😎✌🏽
I cry every time I hear it - reminds me of love felt so passionately then lost. They have the bitter sweet melancholy mix of emotions down so perfectly in this song.
The moment she put on that geisha make up my heart sank, I knew she was gonna break his heart, i was hoping it wouldn't happen but damn :( the sakura backdrop towards the end was aesthetic AF tho.
+Karla Cervantes Geishas are historically made to provide only temporary entertainment and joy, So her putting on a Geisha costume is almost a symbol of someone you can fall in love with but can never be yours.
+wdylktsr they can get married to whoever is the highest bidder. Money will go towards the geisha house where they were trained and Hopefully partly to them.
that's false! however they retire when they marry since being a geisha requires complete dedication to life as a traditional japanese entertainer and hostess
A different perspective from everybody else commenting but this song really hit home when I fell in love with somebody who was already in a relationship. We had really electric chemistry but he couldn’t throw away his 7 year relationship. I think about him all the time. I hope he’s happy.
This song was locked away for so many years that listening to it now after time has passed is bittersweet. I reminisce on what was, reflect on what is and wonder about what might be. I realize no matter the rollercoaster of emotions love entails: it is all worth it. Having the ability to love people is the best feeling in the world, where you just wanna give your entire life to the those you care about. It can become overwhelming, but I would encourage everyone to not be afraid to love. 1/21/23
This song hits me so hard. We were each other's first love and I really thought he was the one. Fast forward 2 years after breaking up and I tried to reconnect.. things actually seemed to be going well. He said he missed me and we hung out like the old times. It was magical. It was later when I found out he was actually in a relationship with someone new.. someone that loves him. I was devastated and felt stupid for thinking things were going to go back to the way they were. But I knew I had to back off and here I am. Listening to this beautiful, yet heartbreaking song thinking about that boy. Music is a powerful thing.
I feel like with a lot of can at least relate to your scenario including me. During these events it can be pretty tough and painful going through these experiences but I agree that music IS a powerful thing and I believe that although it may remind us of those painful moments and rubbish feeling memories, it helps us get through these moments.

I know how you feel! I met a boy in my work and we started dating, 03 months of pure affection and love THEN I found out that he was dating when he knew me and he just started ignoring my messages and stuff (we were still dating) when I knew he was in a relationship with someone else. Here I am, 04:05am in the morning listening to this song and still thinking of him. I feel so stupid because he actually haves someone that loves him in a relationship and I am still thinking of what we could have been or missing the old times. Ugh.
IN AGES for me! I was a teenager when MTV went in the air & THIS is indeed A compelling & beautiful piece 😌💗😌💗😌 & ive always had a thing for geishas so brownie points there lol
The video isn't super uplifting though because the guy like loves the girl and she kind of leaves him and breaks his heart in the end. :( It's an amazing song though.
When the melody explodes @3:22 up until the end it feels like your emotions explodes as well and it's very overwhelming and you dont know what to feel. I Love it.
Nice touch with the ending that the man and the girl found themselves at the end again, when i first was seeing the video i was thinking, so sad, he will never find her :)
I never thought I'd see them here in California in the past two years I've known them, but they finally came this year and tickets were $12. Next time it'll probably be $50 T.T , it's one of the reasons that I kinda want to be selfish and keep them at this level lol
+J.C. Hitosis i desperately wanted to see them in SF but no one i know had heard of them. yeah, i bet! disappointed i didn't get to take advantage of hearing them for $12.
I swear I've listened to this song a thousand times over the past 3 or 4 years. Every breakup every heartbreak, even when im just feeling sad this song is always there.
I've known this song for about two years, and I don't think that I've found any other song that gives me the same feeling as this one. The chord progressions, vocals, and the lyrics send chills through me every time I listen. Of all of the music I listen to, I find myself coming back to this one the most. It simply never gets old. What get's me the most about this song is the message. Recently, I found out this girl I liked started dating this other guy. Me and her have been really good friends for around 3 years. I knew for a while that I was into her, and I believed that she was into me too. When I found out she was dating another guy, I didn't know how to react. I was heart broken, angry at myself for thinking that I maybe wasn't a good friend to her. Last week, probably a month after I found out about their relationship, I remembered this song. Listening to it now makes me feel an entirely different way compared to when I first heard it. I'm beginning to understand how real the lyrics are. I used to play this all of the time, whether it be in my friend's car or at a party. I only listen to it now when I think of my friend. Never would I have known that one, simple song could be capable of holding so many good and bad memories. But anyway, it's a great song; good job Honne. (sorry for that NOVEL lmao)
A partner of mine used to suffer from panic attacks and this is the song we’d dance to abate them, we’re no longer together. But this song will forever remain a safe space for me. A testament to love amidst all the crazy things life throws at us.
I have to give it up for the director, Malia James, they did an absolutely wonderful job. Every shot had meaning, had rhythm and emotion. Makes me glad this is part of one of my degrees and hopeful for the future. Thank you!
I just randomly heard this track through Amazon music. This song speaks loudly to me. The lyrics express my every thought about a friend i love more than i ought to. And i hate the fact that they're on my mind even when I try to distract myself.
I played this song every single day when I was staying in Turkey three years ago. I still remember the days and beautiful scenes that I've seen whenever I listen to this song. It was one of the best parts of my life.
Song takes me back to a twin flame I would say, those tend to never last either, but typically the ones you feel and affect you the most. This song takes me back to my time with her. It’s that deep cut pain in your heart that’s hard to bear. But just hearing the beginning of the song causes that feeling. Hope that woman is happy.
I've had this song on my watch list for the past 5 or 6 years. This is the first time I've listened to this song today. Thinking about how long ago this was metaphorically in my youtube 'pocket' listening to it now while reading peoples comments from years ago draws out a nostalgia of all the love and hurt I've experienced over the years which makes this song more beautiful. What a wonderful song and a perfect moment to listen to it today. I hope all of you have a wonder day and life, wherever you are listening to this song right now. Just sharing :)
I met a Japanese girl few years ago by mistake. Everything happened like in this video. Everything was perfect. Pure bliss. Funny thing is, she used to sing that music every time we went to karaoke together. But I didn’t like it so much at that time. As planned, she had to leave for Australia. Instead to give her freedom, I decided to break. That was the hardest thing I ever had to do. But I wanted her to experience her new Life freely. Now, I’m the one who love and sing that song every-time. Her ghost is still staring at me. I wish someday our paths will cross again…
This song is so beautiful. It reminds me of someone. There's this boy in my school that made me fall for him in the very first day we met. There's something so magnetic about him. And he is full of flaws, but I still love him so much. He shuts himself off, away from people. He is always surrounded by friends, but his laughter is so rare. I really, really love him, and I hope that one day he can just sit down with me and cry all his sorrows away on my chest.
I'd do anything to have Honne release an album in the same style as Warm on a cold night..every single track is absolutely sublime, intricate and created with love. I adore their new stuff too but this is where the real thing can be found.
Lay on top of me Ikr he's hiding many things behind his face. He's cute, sweet most of the time and sometimes serious or naughty. He will have good works soon and he's gonna be famous.
Listened to this song when I went to rehab in California from Florida over and over and over. I met a beautiful boy and we fell in love and I sent him this song. It gave me the feels and I would think about how every single person with a brain told us not to be together because we were both serious addicts new in recovery. It was pretty much forbidden in that universe. We couldn’t stay away. I still listen to it today and almost nine years later we are sober and have a beautiful four year old. Have been together almost every day since we met. Airplanes, grey hounds, city to city, detoxes, rehabs, the rare vacation with his family, state to state, homeless, in hotels, motels, rented apartments, and every place has felt like home with him. Life is wild. He’s an asshole but also the most intriguing, kind, loving, weirdo who grew up in New York as a guido and me a scene kid hahahaha. We are two of the most opposite humans in the world but attract one another like magnets. He is my home. Always. Thought it all. Him and our boy. Xoxo Love comes in all forms.
This is one of those songs where I actually HAVE to watch the music video rather than just listen to the audio. This has to be the best song x video combo I've ever seen.
I read up on geishas and it give a greater understanding to the video. Geishas are entertainers not prostitutes which is a common misconception but in their job they must remain single.
Yep- you can see it's symbolic because of the inconsistencies with the outfit (eg not wareshinobu or ofuku hairstyle, lack of thick White paint with red eyebrows missing, different shoes etc). But definitely a good representation from a non-maiko by the Industry!
Belladonna Von Definitely metaphorical, her kimono may represent the cultural gap between the two, also he's a tourist and you can't just giving up the "important things" just like that (college, job, family etc) for a ephemeral relationship, it's very romantic to meet someone while traveling to other countries but it may not work...
I like the way it's "HONNE + Izzy Bizu" rather than "HONNE FEAT. Izzy Bizu". It's nice to see artists given equal credit in the songs they do together.
We fell for each other when everything around us seemed to say no, but the depth of the connection and chemistry told us it would be perfection. Both in long-term relationships, but we found something in one another that just.. couldn't be be overlooked. These songs were written for connections like this. The heartbreak of realizing everything you were missing clicking into place, only for it to be just out of reach is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. Take the leap.
You ever find songs that stand out above the rest, they just bring you to another world? This is one of those songs for me, found it when it came out and still listen to it every now and then
God this song.. I have never been in love but I cried and smiled and got goosebumps all over and I just can't stop listening to it. Honne is really one of those artists who makes makes music that not only touch you, but break you and tear you and put you back together all over again. I want to tell everyone and no one about this song, it's a masterpiece that I would like to share but keep all to myself at same time. It's insane. No better way to put it.
I never thought that deeply about this song, however with everybody sharing their stories, it makes the song mean so much more for me. I kind of feel it now.
I recently fell in love with my best friend that has watched over me for the past few years while I've been in a bad relationship. 4 months after escaping that relationship I've come to realize how he's loved me all this time. Im falling for him harder every day now and This song just reminds me of it. Thanks
this song is still on my repeat since 2016. if my future partner knows about this song and also is inlove with this like i am then i know its a blaring green flag! also, the feeling never gets old when i listen to this song. a mic of melancholy, love, passion ang warmth/coziness in tokyo winter i have yet to experience
How underrated is this band, I really want everyone to listen to their music and share it with everyone, let’s make this mainstream. Music is about culture and sharing, this deserves to be no1
First heard this song 2 years ago when I found out my boyfriend was cheating on me. Loved and hated this song at the same time. And 2 years later, I listened to this song again in the car when an old spotify playlist was playing with my new amazing boyfriend. Rediscovered the beauty of this song again.
I find it wierd that, i only like watching this music video when its 1 am. Otherwise i would'nt watch it. It makes me feel alive and wanna hit the road for a late midnight drive.
This is my fave song since 4 years ago. I was going to share it with the girl I love, even if she looks kind of straight one, but she said, "I don't like HONNE because my ex likes them." Today I comeback to the comment section and found comment like "don't share it with your beloved and let it ruin the joy of the song when your relationship ends." I can't agree more.
I cannot even begin to explain the way this beautiful song makes me feel. It always pops up on a radio station in the background of my life like a soundtrack, exactly when I am going through something. It fills with me with so much love and hope.
I met a guy online playing video games and we became the best of friends for 3 years. We talked on the phone on the weekends for 9 hours at a time. He was so funny and smart. He lived in America and I lived in Canada. I started to fall for him and we talked about meeting up at a convention the United States. But he mentioned that he was in a toxic relationship and that he wanted to leave. But deep down, I knew it wasn't going to work and this wasn't right. It started to get complicated because he wanted to leave his relationship but had a child with that woman. So it broke my heart but I had to let him go. That was when I stumbled upon this song. I set him this song as my final goodbye. He still messages me once in a blue moon and I know we both feel a bit of regret of what could have possibly been, but the time I shared with him I will never forget. Thank you Honne for this beautiful song that captured my feelings so perfectly.

I kinda miss this genre of HONNE. I also love the new music they’re releasing today. But this era really is golden. The Warm on a Cold Night era. I miss it.
I really don't get it.
'Warm On A Cold Night' was a 9.5 out of 10 for me, but the new stuff is seriously a 1, or 2, tops.
agree on this , hope honne change their music , the one out BACK ON TOP is almost close to WCN era :)
Agree i have lots of memories with their old albums
yeah, it has changed a lot, perhaps the duo are in a happier place, writing happier songs :)

One of the greatest things about this song is reading the comments of so many people who tell their stories because they resonate with either the imagery or the lyrics of this video. 🤩
This comment is a small reminder that your comment is legit..you see that even 5 years later your "irrelevant" words are noted 😅😂

thanks for the reference i can understand better
I like how you think
That’s hella sad
would you say it WAS meant to be for their paths to merge so it'd trigger this new beginning?

That's the thing about love, some of the strongest ones come so unexpectedly but also leave so unexpectedly
True
That’s deep
That was the point of the Hanami scene, in Japan it's tied to fleeting moments.
Well this comment feels like a truck just hit and ran over my whole body
that hit me so bad
I lived in Japan and married a Japanese woman . She is not a full Geisha look at her dress. She is a Micco which is a Geisha in training. It's very romantic because if you Japanese culture, she cannot be in a relationship without giving up her profession. She breaks his heart because she chose her profession. Like a true Japanese woman I love how she blew him off for the first dive in kiss. But in true fashion she succumbed after he showed his honest desire. Whom ever made this video thank you for casting Asian actress in a non stereotypical role. Great video
So in these video she choose her profession over him?🤔
Id choose love, it's common sense, #love conquers! An elderly friend told me , love is rare appreciate it! #indigochild x

I hope to see her again soon.
highvoltage47 it sounds so beautiful,,
I want that kind of love and connection 🖤
Go for it!
@@elisnovat3955 autism isn't an insult. Please just stop.. It's a characteristic like skin color.
how have I not know this song till now
2021
If you like Honne, you gotta listen to SG Lewis, Joy and Rufus Du Sol. Love your videos by the way 👌
Eh, @Leenda it's okay, but overrated imo.... she obviously didn't want him, he's left searching her country for her (a one night stand with nothing in common) like an idiot. Opposites don't always attract, it's best to stay to similar types overall/realistically. IF they even care, the person WILL somehow let you know.😶 I know of this firsthand✋🏻. I like Honne 🎶 though.👍🏽😎✌🏽
How haven’t known this music video until now?
I cry every time I hear it - reminds me of love felt so passionately then lost. They have the bitter sweet melancholy mix of emotions down so perfectly in this song.
The moment she put on that geisha make up my heart sank, I knew she was gonna break his heart, i was hoping it wouldn't happen but damn :( the sakura backdrop towards the end was aesthetic AF tho.
didnt know about geisha's coming into this, knowing now, the video clip means a shitload more... amazingly well done vry simbolic much cri
+Karla Cervantes Geishas are historically made to provide only temporary entertainment and joy, So her putting on a Geisha costume is almost a symbol of someone you can fall in love with but can never be yours.
correct me if I'm wrong, but I read somewhere that a Geisha couldn't get married, is it true?
+wdylktsr they can get married to whoever is the highest bidder. Money will go towards the geisha house where they were trained and Hopefully partly to them.
that's false! however they retire when they marry since being a geisha requires complete dedication to life as a traditional japanese entertainer and hostess
what a beautiful song to listen to at 3am...
yes, pun definitely intended for all my honne lovers
3:17 AM?
bkm0199 3am is also a song by honne lol
+Jerell Tacotaco He's talking about the intro to Warm on a Cold Night by their drunk friend
+Jerell Tacotaco We will be the pioneers of the HONNE fanbase when they go even bigger
+qotsaforever +J.C. Hitosis yes, that would be amazing 😍
TURN THIS INTO A FULL LENGTH MOVIE WITH THESE ACTORS, PLS
THE STORY IS FASCINATING. @HONNE
yes I second that ! or perhaps a sequel to this music video...
Winnie H Watch, Already tomorrow in Hong Kong. Thank Me later
soooo agreee !!
YES
YES omg
A different perspective from everybody else commenting but this song really hit home when I fell in love with somebody who was already in a relationship. We had really electric chemistry but he couldn’t throw away his 7 year relationship. I think about him all the time. I hope he’s happy.
Same here he’s in his 7 year relationship as well. 😔
I feel ya!
mine was: I didn't know he already had someone. I indeed deluded and hoped for more
I'm in the same place right now
This song was locked away for so many years that listening to it now after time has passed is bittersweet.
Jessica Wilk :( everything will work out for you in the end!
I know I'm late but thank you Yvonne! You were right. I feel like I'm pretty much over the person I wrote my original comment about. 💞
Ugh.
That was a short time to get over someone if you felt the way you described.
True Feelings.

I love the way their voices sound! Both the performance and FX
👍
This is so calm and melancholy, every time I hear this I feel a feeling of nostalgia, of moments I haven't lived and places I've never been
Gosh there’s a reason why HONNE are one of my absolute fav artists.

This is definitely one of the most beautiful music videos I've ever seen
IN AGES for me! I was a teenager when MTV went in the air & THIS is indeed A compelling & beautiful piece 😌💗😌💗😌 & ive always had a thing for geishas so brownie points there lol
Just when I thought I couldn't be more in love with this song
Here I am at 49 and I love this shit!! Not normally my thing but it's just so uplifting.
I am 58, and I love it too. Izzy is a brilliant talent.
I tell my friends that there is still good music being made and they don't believe me.
I'm 14 and wow this music is gold
You go Brian!
One of the most aesthetically pleasing things I've witnessed.
why can't this music be popular
because people don't have good taste
omg i was thinking the exact same
unpopular club is way more amazing
i heard it's quite popular in Japan.
No Jesus let Honne be our little secret
I feel accomplished for having found this band before they have blown up, because I know they're going to be EVERYWHERE soon. this was amazing.
I never thought I'd see them here in California in the past two years I've known them, but they finally came this year and tickets were $12. Next time it'll probably be $50 T.T , it's one of the reasons that I kinda want to be selfish and keep them at this level lol
I somehow wish they'll never become so famous
Same! Forever grateful to find them on SC months and months ago😄
+J.C. Hitosis i desperately wanted to see them in SF but no one i know had heard of them. yeah, i bet! disappointed i didn't get to take advantage of hearing them for $12.
Nicole Guempel holy crap I live here and I didn't know they came! Next time we should go ... NO ONE around me likes the music i like lol
YOU KNOW THE KIND OF MUSIC THAT GIVES YOU GOOSEBUMPS WHEN YOU LISTEN TO THEM? WELL THIS IS ONE OF IT.
HALP. I can't stop playing this song and video...but then again, I don't think I want help...
Of course you don't want help. You need HALP.
Fahmi Sani funny!
I know! Its so good
great song I listen to it about 20 times a day
HAAALP! :D
This song is the definition of perfection omg
No matter how much time passes I know I can listen to this song and think of him and remember how much he meant to me
A partner of mine used to suffer from panic attacks and this is the song we’d dance to abate them, we’re no longer together.
Thank you!
honne has this special vibe you feel comfortable with
I just randomly heard this track through Amazon music.
I've downloaded the song but I keep coming back to watch the MV!
hope you didn't actually have to pay for it
LOL, I thought I'm the only one!!
Izzy kills it in this like always
This made me cry omg
+ModerateImagination me too ;-;
+Ben Cooper idk reminds me of things
Ben Cooper Well bc it's like she can't be with the guy bc of cultural restraints i guess
+Marsha Nadyah it could be interpreted in many ways
ModerateImagination It definitely can !
🥺🥺🥺
you met someone by mistake? like, "OOPS hi my name is david"? wtf does that mean
I’m sorry
im here to tell you, you shouldnt have break and taken a chance
i would love for a behind the scenes footage cos' i really wonder how the actors felt filming this. it's just so real and beautiful
You with him yet?
Rinaco is sooooo fantastic in the video....even me as a girl already fell in love with her
Me apaixonei por está música 🍀🎼🍀
I'd do anything to have Honne release an album in the same style as Warm on a cold night..every single track is absolutely sublime, intricate and created with love. I adore their new stuff too but this is where the real thing can be found.
3:05 when they are dancing is my favorite scene they look so cute and joyful (:
You guys are the best. Truly the best.
It's amazing how this song brings beautiful feelings out of you even though they're mixed with sadness.
HONNE is just something else when you hear it with feelings
This song got me into HONNE and 4 years later, I’m still very much in love with HONNE 💕
Rinaco is so beautiful♡ and this song is just wonderful
yeah she's beautiful in her own way . She seems pretty comfortable in her skin too .
this made me cry, reminded me of last year - when i fell in love with someone and lost them forever
Eat My Shorts I feel you pain, it something that will never leave us and we have that scar so deep that it becomes we we are for forever
Every MV this guy is on, turns out to be amazing.
what others MVs he's in ?
Saf Sorry for the late reply. The other one is Sleep on the floor by The Lumineers.
Lay on top of me Ikr he's hiding many things behind his face. He's cute, sweet most of the time and sometimes serious or naughty. He will have good works soon and he's gonna be famous.
Yes i really hope he gets the recognition he deserves!
Xoxo
Love comes in all forms.
Beautiful testimony ❤
This is one of those songs where I actually HAVE to watch the music video rather than just listen to the audio. This has to be the best song x video combo I've ever seen.
This song will always remind me of that one magically night
everything about this is INCREDIBLE.
I read up on geishas and it give a greater understanding to the video. Geishas are entertainers not prostitutes which is a common misconception but in their job they must remain single.
Yup. And pretty sure she is not an actual Geisha here but just symbolically put in as someone that can make you happy but can never be yours
She makes him happy and vice versa. but they can never me together. metaphorical meaning
The thing is that almost the whole video about geisha s tradition is wrong, even the make up wasnt ok hahahaha
This song brings me a mix of nostalgia, heatbbreak and good memories
I like the way it's "HONNE + Izzy Bizu" rather than "HONNE FEAT. Izzy Bizu". It's nice to see artists given equal credit in the songs they do together.
Half British, quarter Japanese and quarter Nepali girl here 😊 and I just can't stop listening to this song. So in LOOOOVVEE ❤️❤️❤️❤️
woahhhhhhh youuuuu youuuuuu yasssssssss yasssss bless youuuuuuuu
10/10 wife material
Half Japanese Half African American :)
half, english, half indian guy here. I as well, am absolutely in love with this song.
So do you know her instagram?
this is so magical
We fell for each other when everything around us seemed to say no, but the depth of the connection and chemistry told us it would be perfection.
Both in long-term relationships, but we found something in one another that just.. couldn't be be overlooked.
These songs were written for connections like this. The heartbreak of realizing everything you were missing clicking into place, only for it to be just out of reach is something I wouldn't wish on anyone.
Take the leap.
You ever find songs that stand out above the rest, they just bring you to another world? This is one of those songs for me, found it when it came out and still listen to it every now and then
I'm obsessed with this song. OBSESSED.
I can listen to it endlessly

God this song.. I have never been in love but I cried and smiled and got goosebumps all over and I just can't stop listening to it. Honne is really one of those artists who makes makes music that not only touch you, but break you and tear you and put you back together all over again.
I want to tell everyone and no one about this song, it's a masterpiece that I would like to share but keep all to myself at same time. It's insane. No better way to put it.
I'm speechless 🙌👌
I never thought that deeply about this song, however with everybody sharing their stories, it makes the song mean so much more for me. I kind of feel it now.
I recently fell in love with my best friend that has watched over me for the past few years while I've been in a bad relationship. 4 months after escaping that relationship I've come to realize how he's loved me all this time. Im falling for him harder every day now and This song just reminds me of it. Thanks
Katie Norris yo are you guys still a thing
brings out that short breath after a cry feeling. soft song, thanks
such beautiful, vibrant cinematography
Always feels like the first time listening to this
this song is still on my repeat since 2016. if my future partner knows about this song and also is inlove with this like i am then i know its a blaring green flag!
also, the feeling never gets old when i listen to this song. a mic of melancholy, love, passion ang warmth/coziness in tokyo winter i have yet to experience
I'm gonna be listening to this for a very long time
One of the most wonderful songs, gah.
The Cinematography in this music video is *A M A Z I N G* i keep coming back to watch this video 😍
Me too
Glad to hear the God of War approves! 🙂
Rediscovered the beauty of this song again.
lol
love love love
been listening to this on replay for a week already and I still lovee it
I find it wierd that, i only like watching this music video when its 1 am. Otherwise i would'nt watch it. It makes me feel alive and wanna hit the road for a late midnight drive.
let's go for a drive together. come pick me up babe
The before Sunrise vibes. Damn! Love this song
2024 and yet still enjoying this song! 😊😊
This is my fave song since 4 years ago. I was going to share it with the girl I love, even if she looks kind of straight one, but she said, "I don't like HONNE because my ex likes them."
Today I comeback to the comment section and found comment like "don't share it with your beloved and let it ruin the joy of the song when your relationship ends." I can't agree more.
I cannot even begin to explain the way this beautiful song makes me feel. It always pops up on a radio station in the background of my life like a soundtrack, exactly when I am going through something. It fills with me with so much love and hope.
Summer of 2016 jam and still jamming to it after 3 years. This song is never gonna get old. I love HONNE
I'am in love with that song. The boy in video is estonian, at the moment I can't name him, but he his.
So in love with Honne music.
Thank you Honne for this beautiful song that captured my feelings so perfectly.
woah the very beginning gave me chills and the music took me to another world.
