You're so right about the mindset. It eats me up from the inside when I find myself resting and not doing anything significant or productive. I end up getting depressed and crying because of it
I'm so proud of you for making a wonderful project. You're getting better each time you are producing more work. I wish you a wonderful productive week ahead to finish off your semester + finals! Ahh and your boyfriend took really nice shots of you. What a pleasing couple! ❤
AAAA SHE UPLOADED GUYSS 🤭🤭 She always motivates me to get my work done, 사랑해~ ㅋㅋㅋ Ur soo amazing at ur major and I’m interested in it too so I love seeing the work you do, it’s amazing
I relate so much to the UX stress, this INFP somehow became the creative director/ project manager of their group app project; and I'm just dying to be done~ 36 hrs until we submit and an three days until presentations
Hi Hannah! I'm currently a first year CS student and wanted to know if I need to be naturally good with drawing/sketching or anything hand-drawn in general to get into product design. I'm aware that there are certain aspects (like UI/UX) that don't need the visual art skills but wanted to hear a design student's opinion before I dive deeper into programming. I've only been in a few fundamental/intro classes so I'm not crystal clear on what is which but design intrigues me. So would appreciate it so much if you could lmk! xoxo
hi!!! I would say you definitely do not have to be naturally good with drawing/illustration to get into product design :) More than like 90% of the students in my ux class were not art/design students - I also felt no pressure to have visual art skills in that class, as there was more of a focus on user research and problem solving! It is a bonus if you know or learn graphic design basics, but I don't think you have to worry about drawing abilities. If you are interested more in design for ux, I would recommend learning graphic design principles or basics (not drawing) which I think anyone can pick up on!
