agree i appreciate separate ratings for excitement level vs the review/execution level. i am still excited for vision pro too (gotten the demo twice in a couple different LA area apple stores) and was blown away. I do have a close friend in the area who literally uses it for work every single day and was excited for the new Vision OS 2.2 with ultrawide and various mac screen resolution mirroring since he is using that feature
People citing comfort issues just need to “push through” it. I can wear mine for HOURS at a time now! Also, the new Virtual Display mode for the Mac has been instantly beneficial to me. Spent the entire day yesterday working in that mode and was super productive; precisely because of the 10K ultra wide virtual display. As for when it should have been released, it was released appropriately. As long as a company is upfront about what it has at its release vs. what comes later, then that is the key. The whole review of the Vision Pro here sounds intentionally pessimistic. I think you’d both benefit from a positive approach and attitude the next time you use it. Positive attitudes and approach begets positive results! Just my 2 cents; Great podcast guys!
Awe, that's cute… they're all matchy-matchy! 🤣
This is why when I bought my 16” MacBook Pro Max I maxed out the CPU, GPU, RAM, and SSD.
