Claire is so unbelievably gorgeous, and you just know she's the main singer on everything Steps. Pipes and lungs. I could watch her singing anything for hours and never get bored.

am i the ONLY ONE who has still been listening to all of steps's songs and albums throughout the past ten years since they split up?! i simply refused to believe they had split up, and just put all my steps cds on repeat until it annoyed the crap outve evryone in the house. steps have been a MASSIVE part of my childhood and i am so glad that they have put their differences aside and decided to try again. and i still love steps til this very day. STEPS ROCK !!!!

Steps never gets old for me. I started watching STEPS DVD's when I was 3 years old. I grew up with STEPS because my mom always bought their CD's. We watched them together and I pretty much memorize all their songs until now. I still love them. OMG STEPS

Listening to this again makes me cry so hard. This was my alarm tone (not literally) when I was young, prolly 4, because my mom would always play steps' songs on our big speakers so I'll get up earlier to get ready for school. Now that she's in heaven, I always sob hard whenever I hear this or any steps songs play.
I remember my mum playing this song (and others - tragedy, 5,6,7,8, etc) in the evenings while putting my brother and I to bed. I was five. I’m now sixteen. I don’t have a clue what made me remember this song, but I’m listening now for the nostalgia.
I have a particular memory about this song. I remember when Steps were nominated to the Brits and they put a bit of this video when they announced their nomination. That moment always stuck with me as I was watching from South America. You could only get info of British groups from magazines or the Internet and the Internet was just getting started. Good times.
I’ve been a fan of Steps since I was 15 years old as an American fan on April 15th, 2000. It was on my mom’s 46th birthday for when I’ve first bought The US version of the Step One album on CD at a Walmart store in California where I’ve previously lived and on the same day after coming home from the store and I started listening to it for the very first time ever and this song was on Track 10 on the CD because I remember now.
I’m a 90’s kid and fell in love with Europop because of Disney concerts that’s how I got introduced to steps, 5ive and bwitched...most of those groups were only popular in the us for 1st album but after their popularity in the states I continued to listen to these groups and buy music video dvds and concerts...their is a nostalgic feel about 90’s pop...this sound wont ever be popular like it used to be 😭

I just slipped into listening to some old 90s music tonight and now as a teacher and Uncle, I have to say the music industry these days doesn't really have that "feeling" that it gave when I grew up. Buying a single or CD from a store was like an accomplishment, songs from steps, spice girls, s club 7, westlife etc was nothing compared to things these days like "anaconda" by nicki minaj ...
I remember spewing up each time they came on air. When I heard they split up, I cheered, gave my thanks. I think they should have worked with Ministry or a noise rock band on this one.

Wow im hooked to this song. Im 63 and crossed one these amazing people's songs. And now their mine to listen to and enjoy. Im in a nursing home because of COVID-19 and all i fo us crochet and put the ear buds in and that's how i spend my days i wish i had found them 20 yrs ago just like a1, Westlife,and a couple of others.
