I think everyone who was a kid in the early 00's remembers and loves this band. I remember doing a dance to this with friends for a school talent show. Haha
Gglv♠♠♠♠♠♠
I love this bran too love it
I was at university and you couldn't go out without hearing it unless you went to a metal night or something, so it was a big deal to more than just kids.
I was in the late 2000s cause thats when I was born lol
@@thegreenmanofnorwich I was at the university, too, and I liked the song very much. But always thought it was a band for kids in their early teens
This is 100% my favourite S club song. I'm playing it loud for Paul today 🖤
Playing it now for him too. Shame he is gone
And Irene and Matthew perry and so on and so on and so on…….oh well.
Oh! While I’m here…….could anyone let me know when to expect the whole world a most deadly?? Thanks! 😂😂😂😂😂
I love this too
I forgot how important S Club was to my preteen years. Still a bop 20 plus years later.
So funny how this was considered teeny bopper music when it came out and nowadays it can be appreciated as a good pop tune when you compare it with today's hits.
Pretty much everything else they did was really saccharine teeny bopper music, then out of nowhere they put out this absolute belter of a party tune.
Please allow me to correct you,i guess that you really meant that late 90's early 2000's music is way much better compared to today's shits kids listen.Gosh i truly miss that 90's cheerful and very colourfull pop Music!!
Joel Quintero Amen to that brother!
Wel I actually love the cheesy 90’s pop music. Today’s music can’t compete.
Ciclopea2 pisses me off that it's referred to as cheesy 90's music like steps songs too
RIP Paul Cattermole (March 7, 1977 - April 6, 2023), aged 46
You will be remembered as a legend.
Oh no❗️ Why is he ded?! So tragic & way 2 young 2 lose his life now 😥
@@Leyla7292 because of his heart condition back then!
R.I.P. Paul Cattermole (1977-2023) Life won't be the same without him. 😢 💔 😔 😪
For a manufactured pop group this was very, very good and sounded like a classic at the time. It gives me goosebumps. It is genuinely good and a lot of fun. This and Alive too! Cool
erhmmm.. Reach is by far their best song. How you miss that out?
Dionysus I didn't. It's motivational and all but I've got to disagree.
@@anSealgair Well it's the only S Club 7 song that's played often and popular in clubs, because everyone reaches for the stars in the chorus and its lit. The other ones i've never heard played in clubs
Yeah for me it's their best single by far. Hasn't really aged imo, awesome beat great vocals and doesn't have the same "bubblegum" feel like most of their other stuff does.
It has a Michael Jackson feel to it
90's kids grew up with this song!
+Josh Payne YES
2001 and this was my jam...
+Carly Ferdinand same
2000s too
I was born in the 80s and still like this song
This is always one of the best songs ever.
Memories man, memories.

R.I.P Paul. We will miss you 😢
Rip Paul we will miss you
i can't believe it! really????
Whats?
Utterly heartbreaking even now in 2024 😥💔💔 i wonder how sad his bandmates feel right now 😕
REST IN PEACE PAUL
Best Billie Jean as the back beat 😍
The UK in the early 00s/late 90s was like an amazing fever dream.
2010 One Direcion llego para cambiar el MUNDO
I was 18 in 1999, great times!
No smart phones to ruin everything!
So was Australia
I was at uni in the late 90s. Pure pop like this was the unifying genre. Whether you were in to your house, garage, rock, goth…whatever ….if you were in the union bar on a Friday night, five £1 beers down and this came on - everyone was dancing. Unashamed, feel good and unpretentious fun. And our phones didn’t have cameras, so no one was recording it.
Bradley's vocals are absolutely king
Rachel is a freaking queen!
That's my middle name
We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have. He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time.
S Club 7 were The Beatles of my Generation and always have been. Rest In Peace Paul Cattermole 🧡

Thank you for the memories! 😭💔
Written the "S" in the sky. Fly high, Paul.
Still on my list im 33 years old but this kind of music is not getting old
The definition of a perfect pop song. the vocals and production are just on point. Those strings are incredible and the ever so slight reverb effect at 2:58 . Just so so good!
Iconic
This is how to put together a pop group that can actually sing and dance. They have truly great voices, and have awesome grooves and are in sync with the dancing, add an incredibly catchy tune, and put the whole thing on a polished, exciting video, and it is really rather spellbinding!
Well said @beaglybeagle!
WE MISS YOU PAUL ALREADY... REST IN PEACE.❤🩹😭❤🩹
This is the type of song that makes you feel groovy when you get up and dance, it’s the type of funky, disco vibe, when my birthday comes, I'm gonna play this song
This song really makes me think about my childhood! Miss the 00’s can’t believe 2001 was 22 years ago
This single was pop perfection with a debt owed to Billy Jean. RIP Paul xx
Oh wow I can hear the Billie Jean in this now you said it. Never noticed that before.
One of my favorite songs, S Club juniors had nothing on these songs, S Club 7 rules and S Club juniors drools!
Who randomly having a s club marathon after hearing the sad passing of paul?
RIP paul, thinking of your family and friends at this difficult time. 🙏💙
One of the best!
RIP Paul, you absolute beaut
I love Paul 😢🫶 every Saturday afternoon pumping S Club 7 while doing housework and YES I know all the moves 🩷
Always felt like Jo was carrying them 70% even as a a child on lots of their songs, wow I was right. Great voice.
Listening to this in 2022 at the age of 27. This song is still such a banger after 21 years. Many happy memories dancing to this at primary school discos. Thank you, S Club 7.
The first album I ever owned. Played the thing to death, Think my mum hide it a few times. I was sooo obsessed I collected nearly all the magazine collection. And as you said hearing this at school discos was just the best.
I was lucky enough to meet Jo randomly when I was about 10. She walked in to a theatre in Essex (UK) for a drink and to play the slot machine with what I'm guessing was her boyfriend. She was lovely and gave me an autograph (sadly lost it over the years and different moves), still one of my favourite memories.
@@mcyeetus6933 nice one, that's epic. I used to Love S Club 7 back in the day. So cool you got to meet Jo. Thanks for sharing your story. I haven't met any of S Club 7, but I did meet Gareth Gates once and he was a very nice, humble man. Met him outside of Wimbledon Theatre in 2000-something and as I say, he was a nice, humble man. I also remember his cover of Elvis's song, Suspicious Minds. It was nice to see Elvis's music being brought into the 21st Century. Thanks again for sharing your S Club 7 story. Such a cool one.
Iv always found it nice shearing with other fans. You normally get some fantastic stories. I loved gareth he was brilliant. And always love a bit of elvis (partly why lilo and stitch is my favourite Disney movie.
My mum has been lucky enough to me so many people. She did a lot of bar work in high end places in the 80s.she meet people like Bryan Adams, Phil Collins, and the ambassador of Jamaica. Had a great laugh with all of the.
She did show jumping for a while and was able to meet the Queen. She brushing down her horse before her jumps, bent over doing the back of the legs. Suddenly she heard "look at the hind quarters of the you filly" then a soft thump followed by a "Philip, behave yourself". Mum turned around and the queen is stood there with her hand bag against his chest with a stern look before looking at my mum and saying 'well he's really is a beautiful beasty isn't he' (the horse) gave him a big fuss and treats and wondered off).
@@mcyeetus6933 thank you again for kindly sharing your story. Gareth was indeed brilliant. Hope he's doing well these days and same with S Club 7. Hope they're doing well, too. I too love Elvis, he's my favourite singer. Your Mum is lucky too to have met many people. My friend's Dad has met many famous people as well, including the legendary English actor, Oliver Reed. My friend's Dad met Oliver at a party around 1980 and my friend's Dad said that Oliver was a really nice, polite man. Thanks again for sharing your story.
@@alexcarratu5554 im so glad we have my chemical romance and blink 182 back. And just waiting for avril lavigne to do a song with tom then shes done one with all of blink. Not alot music i really liked the last few years. Other than 50s with elvis 80s t0 early 2000s had the best artists.
This is a truly uplifting song. Thank you S Club 7!!!
More like thank you Michael Jackson, they clearly took the bassline from Billie Jean lol
Jo and Bradley were definitely the best singers of S Club 7 and it shows in this song .

R.i.p Paul.
I was 19 years old when this song came out. This song was one of the many songs got me out when I was down with extreme depression. Alot of music in 2001 also late 90's and early 2000 lifted my spirit up after I completely broke down with tears.
Hey Buddy. I hope you are better now.
@@CaptainPangolin I'm good thank you very I'm a lot better than before. I have been working for more than 20 years. I'm also surrounded by great people in my life to help lift me up. I do have some downfalls but I always get back up. Thank you and take care.

Ringtone. You wouldn't believe the number of strange looks I've gotten whilst waiting at the checkout and ignoring my phone. Good manners cost nothing. Don't care. GREAT tune.
Those that grew up in the 60's, 70's and 80's can keep their childhoods!
Growing up with S Club 7 was LITERALLY the best childhood IN HISTORY!!
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
I was born in 75 and adored this song as soon as it came out, despite most of the thousands of gigs I've played at or been in the audience for being hard rock or metal. I love a good song regardless of the genre.
who's partying to this song in 2020 quarantine?
I'm partying rn lol

Omg is it weird that I still remember all the lyrics?! I was one crazy fanatic! Hannah drove me big craayyy
I remember the lyrics, and I was 1 when this was released. XD
David Zlobický I was singing reach for the stars in work and still knew at least 1 verse and the chorus, being 25 you bet I had some odd looks and 1 other person join in.
90's music is like the Original Pokemon theme, everybody knows it and people will join in.
Aha Lel I met Hanna at comic con, I know what you mean!!
she really snatched that lady’s whole wig off huh 😭
