I have not been tempted by Chanel's last 2 collections. The Les Beiges eye palettes that I already have (light and medium) have a ton of fall out too. I am looking forward to their Fall collection.

Thanks so much for your honest thoughtful review. I am in love with my 9 pan eyeshadow and bronzer from last year. I finally feel comfortable in passing this Les Beiges season other than my purchase of the cream bronzer. I don’t do well with ‘golden tones’ -they just don’t look at all natural on my skin tone. I’ve been thinking that the warm shadow looks ‘just OK’ and you confirmed. ❤️

Ice cream? Did someone say ice cream? LOL. You look great! Yeah, I won't be picking up the eyeshadow palette. I used to wear Sunkissed when it was Chanel's only liquid bronzer and I lived by the beach and had a tan. Nowadays, I'm very pale (Chanel 10) and can't decide between Rosy Drops and the lighter highlighting fluid, Pearly Glow. I want it for all over the face. I wonder if it gives a flashback in photos, zoom calls, etc. Anyway, thanks for the video!

The eyeshadow pallet... I saw mixed views about it.
Me, I love it! Always get a compliment when I use it. It is now my n1. I can have a nice colour payoff, but I put either an eye primer or I use the nude eclat eyeshadow stick as a base, and the colours do stand out a bit more.
Usually all this peach/pink colours disappear on me, but not these ones.

Very informative video. Looking forward to getting my package today. I bought the light eye shadow from Les beiges 2 years ago? Anyway it is just ok and I rarely grab it. I do not love the formula so much and it is not a huge colour pay off. The 9 palette is much better I think. I still have the old liquid soleil tan de Chanel and I love that product. I mixed it with foundation if I felt it was too light and it was subtle but effective. I only bought the darker liquid highlighter for the same reason as you. I bought the Le blanc drops already and do not need 2 bottles of a light highlighter. I am looking forward to the limited edition powders . The light I can use as a highlighter I think and the darker a bronzer and shadow. I am glad you tried them all on for us and it is such a beautiful look on you. You wear it so well. Thank you again.

Hi Allison, great video! I bought the eyeshadow palette and both highlighting fluids. For the palette, I’ve only used the darker peach color in the crease and lighter peach on the lid. However, I also noticed it disappearing on the lid and wetting my brush didn’t help much. I then used the Chanel liquid eyeshadow in Rising Sun (warm, coppery shade) as a base and this really helped. 😍

Oh! I've noticed the peachy colours kind of fading, too! Or may be better say they set on me and the whole look becomes very gentle and flattering, it is even better this way for me. I love the quad better as I use it.

I feel so bad I have not been wearing makeup. 😞 So it is very satisfying seeing you do it. By the time I wake up, I throw on clothes, put on a mask and try to get back home ASAP. The virus is bad in Texas right now. The most I use is a cream highlighter, blush or illuminating bronzer and a lippie. Your skin looks gorgeous and I would so have purchased the bronzer if I was actually wearing powders. Thanks for the lovely review. The bronzer reminds me of the Bobbi Brown illuminating bronzers. I’m interested in the drops, not sure what color yet. Would love to see how the product works being mixed in with foundations. I’m so disappointed that Chanel didn’t bring back a 9 pan palette. Last summer’s was iconic and totally deserves to be permanent. BTW your skin looks gorgeous.❤️

I’ve been on the fence about this palette but I think I might have dodged a bullet because if it’s hardly showing up on you, I doubt it will on me (medium skin). I wanted it for the peachy tones. Thank you for your honest review! I’ve been waiting for your input.

Love your look lovely. Those highlighters look beautiful, I’m definitely going to buy one soon. I still have my Marc jacobs liquid highlighter that I love and have had for nearly 3 years. The same goes for my Chanel cream bronzer. Although Chanel makeup is expensive they do last a very long time. Do you know what kind of shelf life the bronzers and highlighters have?
I just checked and the liquid highlighter has a shelf life of 12 months and the powder bronzer 18...I may have to stretch that a little bit 😂

Hi Lilly! I went with the darker highlighter because I thought it would be too similar to the Rosy Light Drops. If you don't have the previously mentioned, I would say go for the new liquid highlighter that speaks to you the most 🥰

Hi Allison, another great video. I am eyeing up that highlighter. I need another like a hole in the head. I try to get my Chanel from Shoppers, but they seem to always have stock issues and run behind. Question for you about the mascara...do you get transfer to your eyelid? I love the mascara and the way it looks and it’s not crunchy at all, but sometimes I have it make an appearance on my eyelid during the day.
I love Shoppers when it comes to Chanel! The price makes the points system worth while! 😂But I find they're not always up to date. I haven't notice that issue with the Volume mascara but maybe you'd like the waterproof version more.

Hi Alli. Thank you so much for this honest review video. I went a head and purchased everything in the collection except the illuminating powder in Sand. I must say that I love both liquid highlighters since each would give you a different colour effect. I even followed Michelle Wang’s advice and added the “Sunkissed” one to my Ultra le tien velvet to add some warmth and glow, and the effect was wow. Loved the bronzing cream gel, and the illuminating powder in “sunset” is beautiful on my skin should I need a warmer effect that could also act as a blush. However, the eye shadow palette was a bit of a disappointment, not in terms of colours cause the colours look gorgeous and flattering, but rather in terms of fallout ☹️😤 I have sensitive eyes, and even though most of Chanel products suit me, the fallout would flare up my eyes, and that’s what is happening each time I use this palette.... especially with the lightest shade that has glitter. Maybe I should try it with a wet brush 🧐. Thank you again for this lovely review 😘💜🌷

Hi Allison, could you compare the sunset bronzer to the deeper shades of the healthy glow powder? The Chanel creme bronzer is too light for me, at least in summer. Maybe I’ll try it again winter. Great video.
Hi Donna! The deepest shade that I have from the healthy glow powders is 50, the one that I showed in the video. But according to the Chanel site there are two deeper shades following that one.
Would you say there’s a big difference in the amount of shimmer between those two formulas of powder?

To clarify I meant between the illuminating powder (Ltd Ed 2020) and the luminous color powder. (Not the sheer healthy glow which seem to be more matte)
@@gatherperfume I think the new LE from this summer has more shimmer, but it's a very soft satin finish.
Like the way your cheeks turned out! Nice complexion!! I always noticed that all matte colours from Chanel fade away or straight out disappear by the time I finish my makeup. I like to believe that's because of the ingredients, after all they are not vegan or fully synthetic like many extremely pigmented eyeshadows nowadays. So I just use an eyelid primer and problem solved ;) I do wonder though, if using the Chanel eyelid base would make them look even better. Have you ever tried that?
I actually used the NARS eyeshadow primer for this video and it didn't help much. I did film a second video with this collection where I sprayed some setting spray on my brush, that video will be out shortly!
I really want to get these from selfridges but it’s so odd the Chanel products cannot be delivered to the US. So bummed. Holt Renfrew also has the Gucci bronzers I like but also doesn’t ship to the US. Just live vicariously through your luxurious haul❤️

I got the eyeshadow palette. The peachy tones work for me just fine. This palette needs a stronger lip colour, I feel. It is a no-makeup makeup palette.

The palette looked awful on me :( I waited at least two months before I bought the "Warm." I have the "Medium" and use it often. I ended up returning the "Warm" palette due to the colors, not quality.
