Hello, I know this video is a couple years old, what cam shaft did you wind up using, and do you have a video of the process?

Hey, thanks for watching! We didn't change the cam This was shot during the "Covid" era and getting a cam would have taken 6-8 months or more. I wasn't able to leave the truck down for that amount of time. Check out the "Just Mopar Joe" channel for cam install videos and such:

Just had take off a little near the two center tubes. You can see the area at the 10:33 mark in the video. It may have been ok without it, but some minor grinding made made it better. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

Did you plug the smog pump ports on the heads?

I’ve been told you can’t do much with TBI motor cam wise is that true ? I have an 89D 100

There are cams available but the Throttle Body Injection system itself is a limiting factor on how much power can be made. The throttle body is rather small and doesn't flow too well. A lot of guys convert to a carb or aftermarket fuel injection. Thanks for watching!

What did you use to plug up the smog ports on the head?

It's been a while, but if remember correctly I tapped the holes for a 1/4" set screw and plugged them like this:
