When I lived in Massachusetts, I used to go to a place called Castle Island with my family just to watch cruise ships leaving from the Port of Boston, which is located near the park. A lot of the ports that cruise ships leave from, that I've been to, are located near beaches and other public areas and I always see people waving from the shore. I've never seen cars so people must have decided to do that because of Covid.

The people cheering are employees of the port and cruise lines. Usually they are from other countries and live in 'corporate housing' part of their contract is to cheer ships. Yeah, there are some that just show up because they like ships like some people like trains and airplanes. But most are employees in the housing villages.
I just subscribe you I was a crew before on carnival thanks for showing me around .. I really miss the ship 🚢 right now my sister on this ship she is working in the spa one of the bartender is my friend aw god I miss carnival 😭😭
Eat the beef Wellington in the main dining room. Cruise by the dining room each morning to review the posted menus for lunch and dinner. Gives you something to look forward to. And will stop you from eating the junk food.
