A Friend of the Family is an American drama miniseries. Based on true events, it follows Robert Berchtold, a close friend of the Broberg family, who kidnapped Jan Broberg twice over a period of two years.

Hey, I just wanted to say.... I follow a lot of the recap channels and this recap (the four parts you did for this series) were the first of yours I've seen. You did a great job and I think yours is the best I've seen to be honest. A few years back I was severely injured at work (I'm an Extreme conditions medic that specializes in team for rough terrain search and rescue/recovery, Wildland fire, natural/man-made disasters, etc) both myself and my partner took .22 bullet to the lower abdomen and I kept fighting so i also received blunt trauma to the head... Ever since, I have a hard time listening to the voices of my fellow females, especially for long periods at a time, even my own voice is hard sometimes... BUT there are very very few female voices that doesn't bother me (like my mother, grandmother and for some weird reason my mother in law) I am okay with..... and for some reason the voice you use for your channel is one of the few. So, I wanted to just say I absolutely love what I've seen so far on your channel and I want to thank you as well, every voice I can handle puts me one step back twords some kind of normality.
