Thank you! I appreciate the feedback! I’m playing with a different format on the next couple videos to see how they do, but in general I focus on sticking to the point and not waisting anyone’s time.
Just grabbed these lights! Thanks for the vids and the code! Any tips for getting similar rooftop lights without a rack to mount em? Would it be possible with an A-pillar mount?
Awesome!! You’ll love them. What vehicle do you want the roof lights for? A-pillar mounts would definitely be the way to go. There’s a ton of linkable light options out there too if you not want to diy a rail to mount them to.
@@dillansgarage funnily enough, a 4th gen 4Runner! I saw the CoLight ones and my only concern is a lot of the mounts were for curved light bars, wasn’t sure if I’d get the linkable spotlights to sit right or if they’d be touching the windshield. The other option was mounting them to the single t-slot channel on the bottom half of my RTT
@@TheReissMackay nice rig! Hard to say really without looking at it myself, but I can’t imagine they make the mounts only for curved. Might actually be a good idea to just hit them up and ask. CoLight is pretty responsive on Instagram usually. I probably wouldn’t use the front channel of your tent since it would be a lot of torque trying to pull it forward on every bump. If you send me a pic of your setup on IG I might have better input.
Those are old eBay China specials. They leak and have terrible projection. Finally got fed up with it so I’m in the process of starting a new brand. SCX Outdoors. One of our offerings will be custom headlight builds.
Great channel! I really enjoy the format of your videos, keep it up! 😎
