I remember seeing an "interview" or, really, a press release sort of video, where NCSoft and AGS were talking about the game, and NCS seemed surprised that AGS was giving class names to the different weapon combos lol. But I hear friends who played on KR always saying paladin, so makes sense.
Unless your gear is maxed out, it's just trash for PvP. It's almost so bad that I want to quit the game because everyone kills me while I do nothing to them. Can't do any PvP Content at all, it's not fun and if I had known that this build is so bad for overall playing the game considering Dominion and lots of PvP Events as well as no loot at World Bosses, I would've run Staff/X cuz it's literally OP and even gets another buff next Patch while SnS as well as Wand is getting nothing but a better Ray for the Wand.

You probably mean Templar right? The game defines paladin as GS/wand.
korean version defines paladin as SNS/wand. they changed it for no reason for global

The spells are not different because of the trypod, those are different spells and what you showed is a PVE build
