Dude, this is so clean! I love the first gen tundras. Never seen that style of camper/rear door/flip up thingy. Haha. So sick!

It’s really nice to see more people lean towards the 1stgen tundras. I sold my 05’ Chevy Colorado z71 4wd drive, and bought my 02’ sr5 TRD AC cab tundra 5yrs ago.
-You have truly made a Great choice in rigs as these smaller full size trucks are lean and can still get in to very difficult places especially if setup rt.🔧👍🏽

Love the setup. I have the exact same set up except i have the regular rear hatch. Even same salsa red color code. Did bilstein 6112 coil overs and add a leaf in the back with sumo springs. I tow a trailer but also sleep in the back with my wife in overland trips. Absolute best set up out there.

I have a 2006 first tundra Trd and that is my dream camper shell. As of right now I just have a standard camper shell with a homemade bed in it like yours.

Beautiful truck buddy!! You should look into PDR, pointless dent removal for that rear bed side. They do great work!!

Thanks! Yeah I’ve looked into PDR but they say it’s to creased so I might have to get a whole bed side

Bro that's exactly what happend to me but for hurricane creek! took my tundra out there not long ago in hopes of some wheeling and camping but the gates near I40 was closed, luckily that next exit over we found a really sweet campsite! The weird thing is that whenever we left max patch and got back on i40 we saw the gate open? anywho great seeing the tundra out there brother, great views out there! really itchin to get back out there!

That looks like a really nice area. I might have to make a trip to TN in the near future.

Brother I’m super interested in your take and mind set here. So you’re going from the Gladiator to the Tundra? I’m a big Jeep fan and have been pining over the Gladiators but my budget lends me more to the 1st Gen Tundras. I’ve had tons of square body Jeep Cherokees and now a Grand Cherokee but I’m so attracted to the Tundras capabilities, quality and functionality. Thoughts?

I love it so far! Definitely looks like a grandpa truck before doing the lift wheels and tires. But the power has been pretty good and the space in the tundra has been nice. Seems pretty capable so far and has potential
