Keeping my clicker. I slow pitch and like the clicker at the gaff.
Lowest price I found for the 500n - $ 560.00. Nice drag, nice handle, but I already have an ocea 2000nrhg ($480.00) & my last 550.00 plus reel was a makaira 16ii. I hear the accurate does palm really nicely but those who have them tell me the ocea IS smoother. Maybe if I sell my ocea - now theres a market! - buy, sell, trade reels. Every month theres a better spj reel out.

Any slow jigging reels from Daiwa
Oh, that's a very good question... Sergey here has some very good info in that respect. He's running a Saltiga 10 or 15, then made use of some Japanese parts from Daiwa, got rid of the clicker and installed a spool lock, so now consistent with the Japanese jigging version. Sergey is the guy to talk to here about the mods and relevant slow pitch reels/rods/jigs. I'll lean on him to get the vid posted soon... - Mark

Is their a swicth to free spool the line out?
No switch, this is a leverdrag reel so one simply moves the lever to the freespool position.
Look into camera more, if makes the viewers feel like your talking to them. Quite like a news anchor, but your set-up is more real not a production so, that subtlety is more important here.
