Agreed. The one that surprised me was Justin Hill. Not worried just surprised bc literally everyone on the beat said he was basically in the bag. I wish they would stop trying to recruit guys to play a gimmick position we don't use and have never used, i don't blame him based on that alone
OSU should put something together for end of summer jamboree period and get Sanders Jr. in for A short visit before he commits

Not really we are 1 dimensional and too obvious without the Jack. It works watch the tape when Jim Knowles was at Oklahoma State. The offenses didn't know who was blitzing or where it was coming from now it's just obvious because Larry Johnson wants always 4 DL on the field

It is crazy to keep beating the Justin Hill drum. Why would he come to OSU when the scheme doesn’t use his position/skill set? With only the hope that the Buckeyes might utilize it a few times this fall.
Hill just wanted to go to Bama. It's not necessarily an indictment on the D staff if we lose one kid.

The Jack isn't gonna happen and the perfect player to do it would be Sonny Styles but Larry Johnson stubborn and wants only 4 DL on the field at all times. He won't budge and is set in his old ways and it's holding OSU back because they can't be multiple

FOH - yes the Jack position is so damn overblown - that worked in the pass happy big 12 - that ish doesn’t even make much sense in the B1G with heavy run teams line Michigan, Penn State - they came within a few plays the last two years against the national champs - talk about an overblown story for people to complain about …and you don’t even know the real story anyway
It's Knowles' fault for not showing different fronts on defense. It has nothing to do with having or not having the Jack. Everyone is so stuck on the Jack. Just like he played only 2 coverages against tsun and no blitzing.
Idk if it’s Knowles or Larry. We can’t have Jack and JTT playing 650 plus snaps. They need to be on field in crucial situations. Whole staff needs to have better rotations to keep fresh and develop depth. Schedule is soft outside of say 4 games.

All funds for 2025 need to go too top OL period!!!!!! We all f*cking know that. Every other position is stacked especially the CB room, QB room, WR room. Worry about another top two LB's for 2026 cycle as well as 2-3 Elite safeties in 2026 class and two Elite RB's and OL period

Frye's out if he doesn't get Sanders. He's played this cycle about as poorly as our opponents could hope. Lazy recruiting and has only landed commitments from players that have an inherent Ohio lean.
If he gets Sanders to commit he gets a lifeline for another year which has some great Ohio talent to pull from.
Day needs to tell him this isn't UCLA and he needs to offer about 50% more than he currently does.

Larry Johnson has to go. He hasn't been good enough to be fucking up recruiting so badly that he's not only tanking DL recruiting, but now he's tanking James Lauranaitis's recruiting efforts as well! Tell Larry to get in line with what Jim Knowles wants or get out. He's not good enough to be doing this crap anymore.
