You are a great inspiration to all of us sewers. Your outfit looks great and comfortable and fit you beautifully. I enjoy watching you and always look forward to seeing what you are making
Thank you so much! That is a sweet comment . I thank you for taking the time to watch.
Love your sewing happiness and for passing on your sewing knowledge!
Thanks, sewing does make happy! And joy is contagious, I have found.
I'm older and just learning. You inspire me and your outfit is lovely! Thank you from Canada.
Hi Denise from Canada, You are so welcome! As we age, I still get energized when I get passionate about something, The "something" is sewing and wardrobe building.
Great job duplicating the jJill outfit. I think the color looks lovely on you!
Thanks Donna! Thanks for watching. See you soon! I thought I had fixed my machine of a clunk! But I need to get it looked at :(
I’m so glad I found your channel, I think your outfit looks great the way it is, the color is very nice/cool looking. Truly looks comfortable and stylish 💞
I’m glad you found me to Olivia. thank you for taking the time to watch me.
Love your makes! “Old Lady?” You’re not old and you look wonderful in that outfit!
Thanks, I appreciate that.
Great job on your makes. 💗I think your Patina fabric is perfect. One more difference in Barry’s is faux fly. I’ve made all of mine in bottom weights. Mostly mid-heavyweight linen and Japanese canvas. I also love bringing younger generations into the world of sewing. 💗
Oh thank you! I didn't mention the 4 inch reduction at the hips the Barry's have either, I wish I had
I have that same skirt pattern. I will be watching to see how that pattern turns out! Love your outfits! You will be a wonderful teacher! Just taking the time to invest in the next generation is so admirable!
Oh thank you! I will get the blessing, I am sure. But, I do want our craft to thrive.
Hey i have that same sage palm linen rayon fabric! You did a great job remaking the inspiration. How wonderful about your sewing jewels group. I love that you are passing along the love of sewing to a new generation.
Oh thank you! I hope you make a wonderful garment with your sage palm Fabric .
cute outfit! personally i like the colors as is. you've really captured the spirit of the original look but made it work for you. great job!
Thank you so much!!
I like the freshness of the white and green :)
Thank you! Green can be worn in all hues, tones and shades, can't it?
Glad I found your channel. Loved your sew the look .
That’s just great you found my channel.
Good morning, I like both the "colorways" 😀 that's so helpful of me, I know, lol
Yes they are! In the end, I probably am majoring on the minors.
I like your sleeve hack. You'll be great teaching.
Thank you! 😊 I hope so.
Good hacks. I go to classes as much as I can for tips and tricks. I just finished a class to make my pants block. I have taught in my neighborhood group in the American Sewing Guild. I just made the Patina. Now I am working on Style Arc Kennie which is very similar.
Hi Roi -Lynn! How do you pronounce Roi? A pants block is major league! Was the class in person? Or on line? Thanks for taking the time to chat!
@@mysewingpractice The pronunciation is the same as Roy. It was an in person class with Kenneth King at the Design and Sewing school in Tacoma,WA
Do you live near Tacoma?
Love your leaf fabric. Really like the elastic insertion at the hem of your top. I'm going to look for that fabric. I also think the color is nice on you. I wouldn't dye it.
Thanks you, Great idea!!
I love the outfit and think the fabric is perfect. I’ve also been wanting to make the Patina blouse so i can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it. 🇨🇦💞
Spoiler alert-I love it! Rachel from stitched up said it was very short in the sleeves. She’s incorrect. I only should have added my normal 1 1/2”.
I’m 5 10”, same as her. I should have, however; graded out at the hips.
Your videos always look great, I didn’t think that your videos looked grainy? But I watch on a 4k hi-def television.
Thanks for the feedback. Is the sound adequate?
@My Sewing Practice sound is perfect.
Do you think the Barry would work well in a double gauze or would it look too much like pajamas?
Well, if you ask me a question, I will not sugar coat the answer. I would not use double gauze for pants. I have seen it used as shorts, and I think that looks good. But, I have heard the bum stretches out and gets smooth. It would make nice pajamas.
Where are you lately? I hope you are well. Missing new videos.
