Swaras Used Komal Gandhar, Komal Dhaivat, and Komal Nishad. All other notes are Shuddha. Use of Shuddha Dhaivat is common.
Raga Desi or Desh differs from Raga Desh. Raga Desh which is more prevalent has following composition::
The raga is of Audav-sampurna nature, i.e., in its arohana (ascent) only five notes are used, whereas the avarohana (descent) uses all the seven notes. Shuddha Ni is used in the arohana, while Komal Ni (represented as ni below) is used in avarohana. All other swaras are shuddha.
Arohana: Ni Sa Re, Ma Pa Ni,Sa.
Avarohana: Sa ni Dha, Pa Dha Ma Ga Re, Pa Ma Ga, Re Ga Ni Sa.
Pakad: Re, Ma Pa Ni, Sa Re ni Dha Pa,ma Ga Re
The vadi swara is Re, and the samvadi is Pa.

মনে হচ্ছে আপনি খুবই বড় পন্ডিত...ভাল লাগা বা না লাগা সম্পূর্ণ শ্রোতার পছন্দের উপর নির্ভর করে....আপনার মত অন্যের সঙ্গে নাও মিলতে পরে এর জন্য কাউকে গন্ডমূর্খ বলার অধিকার আপনাকে কে দিয়েছে....আমি নিজেও আজ এটা শুনলাম...আমারও খুব একটা ভাল লাগেনি....যদি সম্ভব হয় তাহলে বিলায়েত খান বা আলি আকবর খান সাহেবের দেশী শুনে দেখবেন...ভাল থাকবেন...ধন্যবাদ
