We were in Vegas a little over a month ago and ate at a buffet, etc. We got Covid afterward and used a home test to diagnose it. It lasted 3 wks or so. Symptoms sound like what you describe. Advise you to get a home test to know what you are dealing with We had all our Covid shots too. Good luck.
Hey Tim, how are you doing Joe from Phoenix? Hey man, I think you’re just getting rundown although I was shocked to hear you got all the Covid shots. Good Lord, I didn’t get a single one of them. I’ve got friends that are having heart failure from that damn thinganyway will pray it doesn’t affect you. But I would just relax a little bit why go out in the heat and play golf when you’re feeling bad take a few days off and relax brother. I’ll be praying for you to feel better.
Body aches most associated with flu but hope it’s not. You run yourself harder than a lot of people much younger than you, nothing wrong with being MIA when you need down time. Hope you feel better Tim, don’t feel like you owe anyone an explanation for self care!
If the symptoms appeared within 3 days, you may well have picked up something at the buffet. It takes just one person who handles something after touching their face or coughing into their hand ... 😢
Oh well, one not so hot day. I'm confident you'll hit the ground running in no time at all. Take care of yourself and continue to enjoy the bounty of your life!😊
I don't normally comment. But I take a really good allergy medication, over the counter (but you have to sign for it and pick up at the pharmacy counter). I take the Advil Allergy & Sinus in green box. Usually by the 3rd pill you will feel much better. Good luck and God Bless!
I’m one of those who gets ill once every few years. But when I catch a cold or the flu I’m ill for weeks and it sucks. Seems like it lasts forever. But it’s all good. That’s just the way it is. Crushing it!
I have been taking Zyrtec everyday for years. The Dr. told me it would take a few days to build up in my system. It works for me, it is not a one and done. We go to AZ every years. My allergies are triggered out there.
Tim, so glad that you made the drive and got settled before this cold/allergies came on. I tried Zyrtec and it made me drowsy. I have grass allergies, so I take Allegra everyday. It helps a lot! Just rest in the A/C. Please upload shorts to let us know how it's going. Feel better soon!
Hope you feel better soon! I hope you can get some rest and not be on the golf course until you feel better! If you don't feel better soon maybe you can go to an Urgent care. You want to be well for when Miss T gets there. 🙂🙏
I do wonder if it’s the gain in elevation. Cedar City is literally over a mile higher than Laughlin! It’s even higher elevation than Denver. My cousin lives in Denver, and I’ve felt a bit under the weather after arriving there. Other people visiting there have told me the same. Regarding covid vaccines - I got the first two shots and that’s it. I had to get them to travel out of country in 2022 before the bans and vaccination requirements were lifted. Most people who work in the music industry got them. We had to if we wanted to tour. I otherwise wouldn’t have gotten them. And I also received mine about 6 months later than most of my colleagues. Once it became apparent you would have to get them done to travel internationally.
08:25 Oh No Tim, You Didn't ! Tim, you simply have a cold . It's not your age. Oh no you didn't ! Come on man, take Vitamin C , soup and rest. You'll be back in action and feeling good in a few days...I'm the same age as you are. CRUSH IT !!
Make an informed decision ST, your 65 and know your history. Ask your physician about regular appropriate immunizations for your standard of care including preventive care. Your smart ST get right with your MD
Besides myself most of my family and friends across the country are all dealing with some kind of head cold. Not sure what it’s all about. Hope you get better soon Tim.
I agree with Ms T zertec is not good and sinus allergy type meds are not good either they have speed in them and it races your heart. A doctor told me to never take these things. Hope you get to feeling better.
Tim, I hope you recover soon. Traveling across the country by yourself is not as enjoyable as having a partner to be there when either of you are not at your best. Moving 2000 plus miles away from family when you are a senior is also not worth it. Life is short! Family is everything. Get well.
When you ask the MD or Vet for Ivermectin, do you recommend asking for oral, topical, intravenous, or suppositories. Should a protagonists, such as bleach, rectal UV light, or Hydroxychloroquine therapies be concurrent.
That's "Cottonwood fluff" from Cottonwood trees that you're seeing blowing around. It usually does not cause an allergic reaction. Get some rest, plenty of hydration & I hope you feel better soon.
Maybe....Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). "Mild symptoms of RSV in adults include: Cough, Sore throat, Congestion, Runny nose, Headache, Mild fevers, and Fatigue. More severe symptoms can include: Influenza-like symptoms with more serious cough and wheezing, Pneumonia, Inability to effectively breathe on one's own, Bluish tint to your skin, and Worsening cough." You can be tested for this...
Valley fever is caused by a person inhaling spores of certain fungi. Thanks for the update ST. I suspected you may be under the weather. Its not to late to get a Co19 booster , flu ahot and RSV shot. Please listen to YOUR licensed physician when in person about recommendations for YOU at age 65 and history. Ounce of prevention.... Quercetin, vitamin d3, vitamin c and zinc combo tablets.
