Connie from Whats Up Moms died due to complications in child birth and listening to this made me so grateful for you for being alive ❤️ With all those complications you had... Be grateful! Hopefully lady bugs birth will be easier
Congrats on your beautiful boy! He was born a month after my first son, Ryker. I also had an emergency section that took place very quickly and was pretty scary, so I totally feel for you. It's awful when you see all these other moms having "normal" births around you (and on youtube) and you don't have a happy experience to remember when reflecting back on the birth of your child. But it's unfortunately something that happens to a lot of women. I hope both of you are doing great and the wonders of having an amazing kid help soften the pain of his traumatic birth. I know it really helps me!
My mother (the woman in my picture) had breast cancer for 2 years. I remember how annoying it felt when they said "he will call in 30 minutes, if he doesnt call us back" when it feels so urgent. ugh
I work in this field. The reason why we say that is, every patient is potentially having a legitimate emergency. If the doctor is dealing with many emergencies we want to make sure you don't get lost in the shuffle. Always be the squeaky wheel!
thank you for sharing your experience. I'm not sure if you mentioned this, but being that your son was born 5 weeks early, did he have to stay in the NICU for a while? Or were you able to bring him home within a couple of days after the delivery?
I am just now watching this. I had my baby December 11th 2016 premature at 34 weeks. I had severe eclampsia that developed like THAT! (Snaps fingers). Had an emergency c section too and OMG I started to not breathe just like you! It was VERY scary. My husband brought the baby over to me and I didn't even look at baby I just kept mouthing "I can't breathe" and then I don't know if they put me under or if I passed out but I woke up in recovery a few hours later. Baby was in the nicu too. It was a scary first child birth. Baby is doing great now though. I have been watching you guys for months now and now I am going back and watching all of Levi's "baby" videos just because now I have a preemie as well. All of your families videos have been such a great distraction for me while being pregnant and now a very good learning tool for me taking care of a newborn. I am so excited to see mini bug soon! (Probably in the next couple days right?) yay! Anywho I hope you actually read this! Thanks for being my TH-cam "friend"!
I delivered my baby on October 19th, c-section and he was in the NICU that is crazy! It is definitely a crazy experience to say the least! Loved listening to your story. 💗
wow i'm almost 31 weeks and i'm freaking myself out watching this lol! thanks for sharing your story though, you got there in the end and have a beautiful son to show for it :D
Sidney Smith thanks - and I did! I have a beautiful baby girl now, 7lb exactly born on the 19th of September, with the help of a diamorphine injection lol.
Watching back on your videos because i love your family so much! I have 5 weeks left before my daughter is due and this video gets me so excited to meet her :') i cant wait!
Omg Kera has sure changed since Levi was born. Mom life has agreed with her. Sge has come out of her shell and conquered some of her fears. She's so out going. Can't believe I've been watching since that day he was born. Great job guys. Congratulations on baby 3 any day now.
Looking at this now, it amazes me of how much Levi has grown and how much he's learning. He went from a 35 week preemie to a beautiful, strong, and smart toddler. Much love from Oklahoma.
How I knew the difference when I was in labour: Braxton hicks contractions feels like mild cramping. You will know for sure you are in labour when the pain is sharper and constant because braxton hicks comes a little then goes. Don't wait till its hurting quite bad to then call your doctor. You shouldn't be having really bad cramps as intense as period pain if its braxton hicks.
and btw, I'm 34 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and I'm super nervous to go through the whole birthing experience again. I had an absolutely amazing experience my first time and I'm hoping it will go the same... I don't know how you did it but, given all that you went through, you are a super woman! lol you should be proud :)
I'm happy to see having babies is so popular now and by showing your birthing story will show that these are wonderful human life at delivery and should never be thought as less than a person.
My sister started contractions naturally at home at 2:30 in the morning in had the baby at 3 at the hospital, they didn't even have time for an epidural, they didn't even get to put her in a delivery room, she had the baby on one of the objyn tables
Aw, sounds like you had placenta previa! Is that what they told you happened? I am dealing with that right now in this pregnancy, I'm surprised it wasn't identified at your anatomy ultrasound. I am just about 29 weeks now and in the hospital now until I deliver because I've had 2 slight bleeds already. Glad everything worked out in the end for you, so sorry you had to go through that! Your baby is adorable 💜
***** Ugh that is super frustrating especially because you had no idea and did not expect your delivery to go that way at all. I can only imagine how terrifying and emotional that must have been. It is a tough thing to go through, I found out mine is complete placenta previa and by now, being almost 29 weeks with 2 bleeds already, the chances of it shifting enough to attempt a regular delivery are slim to none, so I am trying to prepare myself for the c-section, and at least I feel in good hands being in the hospital now until the time comes, in case he comes premature any point (I'm having a boy too!). I am hoping I can keep him happy in there at least until the 35 week mark like you! They say every day and week makes such a difference for their development. I just found your channels today and I love your videos, thanks for sharing your story and making such helpful videos! :)
Carla Turner i gave birth early just like Kbaby. i was 35 wks pregnant when i had my son. Seth Rylan was born 11-12-13 weighing 6lbs 1oz. i just had tons of pain & no bleeding. i didn't have placenta previa. my water actually broke. i had contractions from Oct 31st till Nov 10th. placenta previa is usually diagnosed b4 ur water breaks.
my labor story is kinda similar to yours. it started out all great and smooth sailing. I was dialating pretty quickly and I was handling it all like a champ. Then all of a sudden things start to slow down ans then im having all these different nurses/drs coming in, checking me, moving me, rotating me, and eventually put an oxygen mask on me. then all the sudden my dr flies in the door and says "natalie the baby is in distress we gotta go for an emergency c-section." i went into shock and immediately started throwing up and bawling. it all went so fast from then on...the cord was around her neck, so everytime I contracted it cut off her air and she was flat lining. she had to go to nicu also from swallowing fluid. but she is 2 now and healthy and running all over the place
I have a low lying placenta at 17 weeks and 5 days. I go in at 28 weeks to see if it has moved and if not I could possibly deliver early and have to have a c-section. When I was told this a week ago, have been so stressed out since. Thank you for this video,it truly has calmed me down.
Never one labour is the same! I admit contractions are sooo painful but you get a breathing break for like 30 seconds. Pushing was so much easier than contractions. My daughter was born in her sac and I'd do it all again within a heartbeat! It's so worth every bit of pain lol x
I've heard people say the spinal was the most painful part of the C-Section, and I've heard some say they didnt feel it at all, so I wonder if it has to do with how our spines are curved, or disc space, or possibly the anesthesiologist technique? I have had 4 C-Sections, all with Spinals, but Ive never felt anything more than some pressure or maybe even little sting at the beginning? I'm so happy he got here safely, and it appears you've recovered beautifully!! Congratulations!!
+Kbaby You do! I've been trying to figure out who you look like and that is it. You are gorgeous. Jamie Lynn Spears, I think she is prettier than Britney but they are both gorgeous.
I remember seeing this video a few years ago. Then last year I had a similar experience. My traumatic birth was due to a partial placental abruption. Im pregnant again and cant help but feel unsure about how it will go this time.
i'm 27 weeks now and luckily they discovered my placenta previa at 21 weeks. Hoping it moves up. I remember watching that vlog 5 years ago and it's crazy to think i'm expecting my own little one now with the same condition as Kyra. So glad everything turned out okay for you.
You look beautiful!!! So happy Levi is safe and healthy 💜 my angel isn't due until May 23rd so your videos have been so helpful. I keep up with your daily vlogs as well ☺️☺️
You should do a video on how you found out you were pregnant and how you told your parents. Your little family is so cute and wonderful Kyra! I hope Everything is going well ♡
u had placenta previa. sounds like it was detaching from ur uterus. i have had placenta previa with my last pregnancy and this one. luckily though mine has moved. with this pregnancy tho (32 weeks) it has moved just enough to allow for a vaginal delivery however as i dilate the placenta could block my cervix again as my cervix opens.
Kyra we had the same birth minus all of the blood. I had a horrible PPD and PTSD from the birth being so difficult, and traumatizing. I was getting anxiety listening to you speaking as I felt I was reliving it. Ugh. So glad you are now a Momma of two. Xo
I'm so surprised that she didn't tell you to go to the hospital immediately when you told her you were bleeding so much! That much blood is a sign of either placenta previa (which you had) or placenta abruption, both of which are definitely an emergency! I'm so glad that you both were safe!
You are so pretty oh my goodness. So glad he's a happy healthy little guy. Was the bleeding your placenta trying to come out? I was 25 weeks premature.
I had an emergency csection and barely remember my baby being born at 36 wks. I've always been bummed I was so drugged. I'm having a repeat cesction in a week with my second now and ive been told an emergency csection is completely different. I sure hope so!
I also had an emergency c section at 35 weeks due to preeclampsia. I too was lucky to go in on time. If you’re reading this it’s not always that awful, it’s definitely scary but my whole operation lasted 30 minutes and nothing hurt, not even the injection on your back. It really isn’t bad maybe you just had a bad team but I really did have a good experience with everything.
Wow that is NOT okay. Thank god u went to the hospital when you did.. Like they didn't even have the right number?? So imagine you had sat there waiting for them to call you! You had placenta previa and that could have caused rupture of the placenta and been fatal for your baby. Thank goodness you went in. Always follow your instincts
Omg i feel for you mama seriously i had late diagnosis of severe preeclampsia went in for my 39 week appointment amd was immediately induced had to get a magnisium drip that makes you feel like you've been running in a dessert for hours with no water also hemorrhaged during delivery lost almost 3 pints of blood by far the most scariest experience of my life but worth every second of it!
Wow, what a scary labor and delivery story. I'm so glad you didn't wait for the doctor to call you back and you went to the hospital room immediately! Thank God you and baby are okay. Thank you for sharing your story.
omg, watching you speak about being on the table has seriously almost sent me in to a panic attack. I'm getting all light headed over here guys. I am so so sorry you had to go through all this. but HELL YES to listening to your mama gut and not waiting to go in! that's a legit reason for a section. thats si scary. yiure AMAZING!
I'm having a c section on October 12th when I am 37 weeks. Could be earlier because I am on bed rest for hypertension and preeclampsia, on meds so they're watching me and monitoring me often. Everyone is different and all the videos I watched on c section experiences were different but this one was a little frightening! Hopefully I don't throw up haha I am so worried about delivering before 37 weeks to ensure my baby will be healthy and not be in the NICU :( We're you able to breastfeed right away? I'm curious if my milk will come in since they're doing a c section on me at 37 weeks. It's a c section instead of inducing because my baby is breech!
Alexis Brook Surgery went very well! I didn't feel any pain what so ever. I do have a lot of pain now but taking your meds every 4 hours is extremely important! My baby is doing great too :) I'm pumping but nothing is coming out yet so I hope a couple more days and it'll work!
Alexis Brook Oh and he is in the NICU :( Doing amazing though but at birth he couldn't breath as good on his own but we both should be going home tomorrow since he's doing much better now
That story was crazy but very informative. I also have placenta previa which sounds like what u had and it amazes me that u weren't getting ultrasounds done regularly. Either way glad everything came out ok! Congrats on the baby!!!
I'm sorry you had such a rough delivery!! I had complete placenta previa as well, but they caught it early so my csection was scheduled. I had a bleed around 34 weeks and ended up being on bed rest till delivery at 36 weeks. Since I knew I was going to have a csection I was able to research a little bit and asked for a "gentle caesarean" which was a really positive experience. I hope your recovery has gone well & if you decide to have another baby that your delivery is much easier!!
Ur such a good mama sweetheart! Btw I loooooove ur makeup, ur lipgloss is so pretty on u. Ur such a trooper love. Congrats to the both of u. I'm expecting my first January 1st 2017, and I absolutely can't wait! PS I just subscribed to ur channel. U seem so sweet and so real. Thanks for sharing ur courageous story. 😙

I love that you're shamelessly feeding your baby during this video!! Go mom!
corrine nolan there. Is nothing shameful abou it
@@arayaadam9712 I felt shameful in the beginning. Nothing wrong with your personality taking time to adjust.
There is nothing to be ashamed about in the first place. She is literally feeding a lil human being that is dependent on her.
Why would she have ANY shame??
You are so clued in!! You told your story really well.
So glad everything worked out & baby was ok xx
I love hearing you talk 😍
she has mommy voice (calming soft sweet nice)
+Lucy Mack agreed
yeah its awesome hearing her talk

My mother (the woman in my picture) had breast cancer for 2 years. I remember how annoying it felt when they said "he will call in 30 minutes, if he doesnt call us back" when it feels so urgent. ugh

Yep! In Remission for a year now :)

you're pregnant! that much blood would terrify me why didn't they take that as an emergency?!
I am just now watching this. I had my baby December 11th 2016 premature at 34 weeks. I had severe eclampsia that developed like THAT! (Snaps fingers). this story had me on edge for some reason
You are so pretty oh my goodness. So glad he's a happy healthy little guy. Was the bleeding your placenta trying to come out? I was 25 weeks premature.
How scary! It's great you went in when you did and that you both are okay. he's beautiful!

I'm so glad you and your baby are okay! I'm sorry you had too go trough that.. ❤️

When you did your ultrasound 18 weeks they didn't told you you have placenta previa?
Looking back at this and seeing how far you have gone with having a another baby and having a house is just incredibly amazing 🤧💓
You are so strong and brave.
i had my little boy at 35 weeks via emergency c section too although i was put to sleep which after hearing your story i am glad!
Who's here after mini bug was born? :)
Maria Duarte Im even here after tinny bug was just born. Everything has changed so much
DAMN that's intense. You are one STRONG woman. Bless you!
Kyra, love this make up, you should use this more in your videos. So cute!
Your delivery story scared me so much! 😫 I'm 34 weeks with my first baby 👶🏻 your boy is beautiful, glad he was a healthy little guy 💓
YOU'RE SO PRETTY STOP IT. 😍
i don't know why but this made me cry. so glad it turned out okay.
AAWWWWW MEMORIES!!! ❤❤ WHOS READY FOR MINI BUG!!!
I was born 5 weeks early i was 9.5 pounds and 22 inches tall
Connor Wilson omg i could only imagine if you went to full term lol
Wow, what a scary labor and delivery story. I'm so glad you didn't wait for the doctor to call you back and you went to the hospital room immediately! Thank God you and baby are okay. Thank you for sharing your story.
Aww Levi is so cute! Childbirth can be traumatic but in the end you got a beautiful baby boy who couldn't wait 5 weeks longer to meet his mama
+misterludakris rude much? Jeez
omg, watching you speak about being on the table has seriously almost sent me in to a panic attack.
Hopefully I don't throw up haha I am so worried about delivering before 37 weeks to ensure my baby will be healthy and not be in the NICU :(
We're you able to breastfeed right away? I'm curious if my milk will come in since they're doing a c section on me at 37 weeks. It's a c section instead of inducing because my baby is breech!
Brooke L how did the birth go??
Alexis Brook Surgery went very well! I didn't feel any pain what so ever. I do have a lot of pain now but taking your meds every 4 hours is extremely important! My baby is doing great too :) I'm pumping but nothing is coming out yet so I hope a couple more days and it'll work!
Alexis Brook Oh and he is in the NICU :( Doing amazing though but at birth he couldn't breath as good on his own but we both should be going home tomorrow since he's doing much better now
Brooke L how was it
Brooke L jk just read ur comment lol
You were really brave! I'm so sorry you had such a tough delivery, but your son is worth it :)
I had no idea she was breast feeding until she said something.
That story was crazy but very informative. I also have placenta previa which sounds like what u had and it amazes me that u weren't getting ultrasounds done regularly. Either way glad everything came out ok! Congrats on the baby!!!
Watching this while waiting for baby Roo's birth vlog 🤗❤
