This episode had so many migraine triggers. The “square peg in a round (sphere) hole “ metaphor seemed a little too literal but I agree it was watchable.
Yeah, I had to take a break from watching or editing anything for a couple days, haha it was rough 😅 that's what I get for getting the flu and covid vaccine at the same time
She's an engineer, there's no way she doesn't know that. Maybe she's refusing to wear anything on her hands because she desperately wants to fit in and wearing mittens all the time would make her seem weird and invite unwanted questions
@@annabrenda8694Well, she was desperate to keep the fact that she has powers under wraps, and avoid being seen as abnormal for literally being Hercules’s niece. Mittens would raise questions. Now that she’s no longer hiding, implementing such a clear solution should be easy. That said, there’s only minimal reason to think that she’s conscious of the fact that the power surges were because of her before this point, because the only time we see her consciously using her powers it involuntarily generates psychoelectric nerf lightning bolts.
Ok I'm glad someone else noticed the dreidel shape. This season has been feeling more.... noticeably sitcom-esque, though whether they've actually amped it up or it's just a matter of noticing something that's always been there, I'm not sure.
Yeah whilst it wasn't a bad episode by any stretch of the imagination, it felt very much like a filler episode and with so few episodes left feels like a wasted opportunity to do something more. However the butt wiggle from T'Ana when she was attacking Boimler was just perfection 😂
@@TheDreadedScotsman I got it on the second watch. Was literally streaming it for a friend, went through that scene and went 'wait a second, did she just', and had to rewind.
Not a Greek god, but i think it would be funny to run into Norse gods, specifically thor, and have lots of references to "those ancient marvel movies" but also mention that they're still making them and that they haven't been good since 2017. Also, space thor hates them because they're really offensive to his people Maybe this is more of a futurama plot 😆
This one i did feel like was the weakest in this season definitely. Ta"Ana is what salvaged it for me though. Owning cats just watching the almost perfect recreation of many of their instincts was also hilarious. The side ear movement to just go wait what?! was so true to a cat. Hopefully you're feeling better at least. The next episode is definitely interesting...
I gotta agree this episode was definetly one of the wearker ones from this season, perhaps even overall. It was not bad by any means, just sort of meh by lower decks standart. The Marriner Olly plot was nice, I like that it builds up Mariner's development as a character even more than before. The Boimler plot tho ... I feel like it's the complete opposite, it seems like it walks back Boimlers development and kinda turns him back to a character that I feel like he had enough lessons to grow out of. Though maybe this is the writers intent, maybe they wrote the alternate Boimler pad as the ultimate challange for Boimler to overcome - atleast I'd hope that's where this is going. I'd hate for the series to end with Boimler regressed back to season one boimler essectially.
... THEY'RE NOT CREATIVE AT ALL!!! 😂😂😂
That cracked me up good
That did make me snort laugh every single time 🤣
@@renrants yup, the show might have its shortcomings but one thing it does well is bring the laughs 😂
Even the worst episodes of Lower Decks are usually at least funny

@@renrants Well take care of yourself. Have some pie.❤️🥧
You as well :)
I do have to laugh at the fact that a large portion of Olly's issues could be solved with insulated mittens.
Oh my god 🤣
@@renrants And now every time you watch this episode you have to laugh at it too.
I definitely will 🤣

It was actually @best of Trek worst of Trek who pointed it out on a stream!
And yeah, there were a few court marshal situations in this episode for sure 🤣🤣🤣
T'ana is basically a walking court marshal lmfao
Nice call back to Futurama! hahahaha
Couldn't resist, the association was so immediate 🤣😭

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed T'Ana calibrating for that pounce.
Everything in that scene was perfect lmao

Totally agree about both Boimler and Mariner! Her arc has been solid this season and his has been a mess
Boimler's hot cross buns?
One a penny two a penny hot cross boims 🤣
I am having a hard time criticizing any of these episodes so far.
There's definitely a lot to like about them! Even the ones that are mid are still enjoyable
Are you sure it isn't pronounced "yanny?"
I'm not 🤣🤣
