MB won't refill the atomizer container, but they are happy to sell you a new one for $130. Much easier to unscrew the cap and refill. The cap will likely be stuck as a result of the aromatic liquid drying on the lid so run it under warm water to loosen it. I'm going to try the Urban Naturals product but have been using New Car Smell by Chemical Guys. The atomizer system is prone to failure and requires a lot of work to find/rectify the cause. Using the wrong aromatic can cause the liquid to dry inside the air hose and clog it.

Hi there Wayne In my s 560 I have the air freshener as well But it’s not working Nothing is clogged because I ran some air through it And going smooth But the actual bottle hold Does that automatically press down on the bottle Or does it make any noise Because my bottle goes in but nothing pressing down on it How is yours please?
No. You slide the air freshener bottle into the slot, and that is it. Adjust the amount with the know to allow more or little and that is it. I made a newer video on S560 Air Freshner a couple of weeks ago. You should definitely watch that dated 2024

The fuses are MF2 and 335. Check both fuses
you did all of this just to top up the bottle?
I did all of this so I can troubleshoot. Better me than Mercedes Benz dealership and a high price tag for the fraction of the work I did.

I appreciate your skills in taking this apart but I would have just sent some through the system first. If no air came through then proceed
The procedure was mentioned on the Merecedes Forum. I wanted to see what they were talking about.
Why all this fuss. Just use a little pressurized air to clean out the hose. This is stupid
