  • Moonlit River in Spring (Chun Jiang Hua Yue Ye, 春江花月夜, 琵琶曲) is an ancient Chinese piece that originated from the lute music “Flutes and Drums at Sunset” "夕陽蕭鼓". The Western harp arrangement here is by Zhe-Zhi Xie and the part incorporates many virtuoso harp technique.
    Jieyin Wu is an exceptional solo harpist. She performs in many exclusive concerts frequently in US (with the San Francisco Symphony) and China. Currently, she is also the mentor in residence for the prestigious National Youth Orchestra of China and tasked with coaching rising stars to become top orchestral players or soloists.
    The melody has been frequently performed by Chinese musicians around the globe including Yuja Wang, Lang Lang, Li Yundi, Wu Man, Liu Fang, Gao Hong, and Liu Dehai.
