I just heard someone at a concert play the song Xi Yang Xiao Gu (夕阳小曲) by Qian Renkang on the piano and I’m confused as to why it sounds exactly like this song. I tried to look into it and everywhere said the two are different songs but I compared TH-cam videos of both Xi Yang Xiao Gu and Spring Flowers on a Moonlit Night (春江花月夜) and the two sound identical. Is there just two different names? I’m so confused.
Bravo! Captive performance! Sensitive touch that displayed a picture of serene moonlight over a nightly bush by water and almost prompted me into tears. There are occasional mistakes close to the end, but I love the performance overall.
I don’t think only 1 little mistake is very important to point out here. Overall she played very well. This piece is really hard to play, especially when pianist use the piano to imitate the instrumental sound, she’s playing was Marvelous!
