@@claireaquos6532 i think the underlying reason for changing the script like this is because of localization. they simply don't want to have dan talk about or even mentioning japanese curry so they have him talk about something else. it's happened a few times before so it doesn't surprise me.

When I watched Season 1, I actually enjoyed DanRuno. I thought that it was handled pretty well for the most part, and their bickering was quite amusing. Season 2 was what soured me towards the ship due to how Runo's character was written to revolve entirely around Dan, which kinda ruined her. She spent nearly all her time trying to make Dan happy, worrying about him or wanting to be with him so badly that, on one occasion, she risked her own life by using the Dimensional Transporter to go to New Vestroia. Her relationship with Dan felt very one-sided. Runo devoted so much time, energy and effort to their relationship, but barely received anything from Dan in return. It was depressing to see. Honestly, I think she would have been better off without him. Staying with him isn't very healthy for her.
Nowadays, I'm in favour of shipping RunoAlice. I got interested in that ship after reading a couple of posts about it on the Internet, and realized how good it is. There's a solid foundation for such a relationship since Alice and Runo were very close and supportive of each other. Alice would have definitely made for a better romantic partner for Runo than Dan.
@@darklordcommeth2367 yeah personally i think aliceruno would've been great because of runo's close friendship with alice and her grudge against masquerade. that's also why i think masquerade should've had his last battle fighting alongside runo, when she was the first person (that we know of) that he ever fought. but ofc that battle is owed to dan because he's the main character lol even though runo had more noble ambitions, what with her wanting to avenge the bakugan masquerade had "killed." but i digress lol danruno could've been decent but the writers fumbled it
@marukrawler Masquerade having his final battle alongside Runo would have been very interesting. Too bad that Runo wasn't the MC. We were deprived of a potentially great moment between her and Masquerade.
