Have you heard Cartier is no longer servicing the Solarbeat? Essentially the story on one watch forum claims a boutique will more or less make it right if you have a failure with the watch as they won't service it. I can only assume they'll offer a battery powered quartz replacement tank. Whether a store credit is another option corporate is ok with who knows. Luckily I've had zero issues with mine as it appears to be pretty rare for an entry level priced Cartier.

Have not heard of that! That would be extremely surprising….for a company of that size.
I have a 3861 speedy and put the OEM Moonshine rubber strap on it for summer here in Texas. Works great.
Can't go wrong with a Speedy on rubber. Arguably might even be better than the Black Bay as it's got the extra chrono function as well.
