Fooling around with an Illisi Force Sword since I haven't touched one in months. Setup makes the most of the melee talents above Scrier's Gaze in the tree to give the Illisi mega cleave and burst damage potential while topped at 100% peril from Scrier's with Warp Unbound active. EP Brain Burst rounds out the build to provide some measure of boss damage while the Electrokinetic Staff provides some level of CC to fall back on if needed and counter ranged fire but I mostly tried to keep this as a semi-frontline Melee Psyker run.
Gosh dang I love that this warpsword doesn't stick to things for the active, but the activate animation is so slow. Gimmie some animation cancels fatshark! D:
Im quite surprised you havent done a couple of Space Marine 2 videos yet, especially with how popular its become. Also i wish i could play psyker like that, i play way to safe compared to you
I had a lot of crashing troubles for the first 2 weeks of the game's launch (black screen CTDs mostly every 10 mins) that really put me off of recording anything for it. I liked how accurate the game was with the aesthetics, lore, and even army/squad compositions based on actual tabletop points limits. However, I didn't find that much joy with how skill was expressed in pacing parry windows and invincibility frames. Darktide's melee combat simply has a much higher level of polish that I've been hard spoiled by for almost a decade throughout Fatshark's 'tide games.
i haven't thought to test it, but does the surge blessing's extra shot on crit apply to only the primary fire of the EK staff or can you do double secondary too? cause if you can do double secondary that seems pretty sick

Okay so new Pysker player here, how is he able to keep using warp abilities and staff while he’s on 100 peril?
Warp Unbound; Scrier's Gaze subtalent that gives you a 10s grace period of not exploding at 100% after hitting 100% during a Scrier's activation.

WarpUnboundTimer is the mod for Scrier's Gaze safety and then customhud to move the UI element around.

You can reach 100% without exploding, but going over the 100% is what kills you

Only the uncharged left click, I put it on here just for some extra damage when trying to hit something further out without wasting a brain burst.
