On Windows, I have found that the preferred renderer that is selected by default causes sound issues and changing it to ANGLE 3 in system settings completely fixed the problem.

For a first readthrough, you should read the original release with original sprites and background images first. There's a charm to it that you will learn to love.
Also I see no mention of this: remember to buy at least one version of the game before downloading Umineko Project.

It makes it more accessible making it much more popular which in turn brings people who probably will buy the game for whatever reason
@@JamesLee50 Giving popularity, sure, but still it's unethical if you can buy it and obtain an official license. Assuming it goes directly to the dev, not some publisher who only owns the IP, for example.
I think this video was a little bit rushed defintely couldve taken the time to explain what is the password to extract the files etc
