Good day Sir, thank for the videos. I have tried designing a stand alone system with pvsyst using lithium ion batteries but when I go to choose the controller I always get the same message "the controller is not suitable for lithiom ion batteries" so how do I know which controller to use. I have clicked on all the controllers. Would you know which type controller to use?

No, you can’t get wind velocity effect. But in meteorological data you can check the wind speed.

Yes PVsyst is the best software out there.
Pvsyst is best, but there is also HELIOSCOPE and its also very good, there is free trial and you can check it out.

Some files comes with the software itself. For special make you have to collect it from the manufacturer.

No. It's not useful for Hybrid system. Because, the lack of battery data and Hybrid inverter data.

There is no link but you can get the PAN and OND file from the manufacturer itself. Every Solar Module and Inverter manufacturer have their own PAN file and OND file.

You can get these in letest PVsyst Version(6.86).

Can someone tell me why is the PVsyst the most popular software out there? Why is it better than, let s say, PVsol software?
It's all about the industry standard and accuracy. Every industry have their specific software. If you compare PVsol & PVsyst both are almost same. But design in PVsyst is more easy than PVsol.

You have to collect OND files and PAN files from the manufacturer otherwise in my detailed training I teach how to prepare PAN and OND files.

There is no as such link for PAN file and OND files. You have to collect the same from manufacturer.

You can get it from the Module and inverter manufacturer. Otherwise, if you have all the data, you can also prepare the same by your own.

There is a device called pyranometer. Through this you can check the solar isolation.

It will be very easy for you... You have to learn some software like SketchUp and PVsyst etc.

Yeah, you can get the job with this experience but you have to learn some technical parameters of Solar Pv Plant as well it's designing concept.
