    Your explanation was good & easy to understand.
    In one case I took 445panels(Jinko) for 250 KW system & 4X50 KW SMA inverters with 6 MPPTS each.
    when we are applying 2nd array to reshuffle strings & series connections its showing error (in orange) that to disable MPPTS feature for power sharing since 16 inputs with 1 string & 2 inputs with 2 strings in 1st subarray but in 2nd array No such errors because 6 strigs in 6 MPPTs of 1 Inverter. I think we can ignore 1st array kind of error right?

    • @AllAboutSolar
      @AllAboutSolar  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for your appreciation.
      When you’re distributing the strings in 2 subarray always try to fulfill as per the number of MPPT in inverter. Let say 1 Inverter having 6 MPPT with 3 input in each now if I distribute in subarray, for 1 subarray I am considering 4 Mppt, then for 2nd Subarray I have to consider 2 Mppt to match the total number of MPPT.

    Please tell me, can we get the power produced for a specific location, for solar panels having fixed optimum tilt angle, but we change solar panels orientation from east to west (ie in morning its toward east and in evening time its towards west)

    • @AllAboutSolar

      Yes, you can get it by using several orientation feature in PVsyst....

  • @sameermfaroor9856

    Hi,Amiya suppose when we are designing a solar plant for single building whose azimuth is about 5 degree or 15 degree towards west with respect to south in that case also we will use several orientation ?Secondly, this field type is just for designing purpose it has nothing to do with the hardware? I mean in reality we will use fixed tilt GI mountings in both the case either it would be fixed tilt or several orientation field type

    Hi, Thankyou so much for your pvsyst series. I have one question ? Here you made a subarray and used a different MPPT configuaration. Was it only to optimize no of modules needed from 76 to 74. Another one is that these two subarrays will be connected in parallel accross the inverter, so won't there be voltage mismatch as subarrays contain 19 & 18 modules in series respectively.

    • @AllAboutSolar
      @AllAboutSolar  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Utkarsh,
      1. For the first case you got it right.
      2. These two 2 subarrays will connected in parallel because we have connect the strings in mppt and mppt are connected in parallel inside the inverter.
      3. If you connect different size of string then there will be a miss match issue.
      Thanks,
      Amiya

    • @utkarshagarwal8773
      @utkarshagarwal8773 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AllAboutSolar Thanks. Means MPPT will regulate voltage of the string internally and inverter will consider no. Of MPPT controllers which is same in both cases

    And by 19 modules in series and 2 strings means that the 2 19 modules in series and connected in parallel between them?

    • @AllAboutSolar
      @AllAboutSolar  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Every ON-GRID inverter having MPPT(Maximum PowerPoint Tracker), in this example. Delta 20 kW inverter having 2 mppt that means two sections of DC input where you can insert the strings. Here total 4 inputs available means 2 for each mppt.
      Yeah, you are right for the second one.

    What is transposition factor FT in Orientation tab? What it's value should be?

    • @AllAboutSolar
      @AllAboutSolar  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Debjit, It's a very good question.
      Transposition Factor for Fixed Tilt:
      It means the ratio of the 'Incident Irradiation' on the plane, to the 'Horizontal Irradiation' i.e how much amount of radiation u r gaining for the tilt angle.
      It's value, generally depend upon 'Loss by respect to optimum' means tilt angle.
      But always remember T.F value should >1

    how to define tilt angle in case of moldele tilted at 10 degree south on a east facing shade which is tilted at 6 degree

    • @AllAboutSolar

      In this case, if you want to do the precise analysis you need to draw 'near shading drawing' in PVsyst otherwise you can take the tilt angle as 10 degree.

To do that, I have to decide the string as S1, S2=18 X 2 & S3, S4=19 X 2 here two string size is different so, you have to put the strings into separate MPPT(S1,S2=M1 & S2,S3=M2). If every string having the same number of modules, you can select the 'No. of Inverters' tab.
