Showreel 2013

I am a graduate of York St John University's Film and Television Production school, looking for opportunities in documentary and news production as a researcher or production assistant. I am confident and competent researching and developing original program ideas, identifying and contacting relevant contributors, acquiring permissions and conducting interviews. In addition to this I have experience shooting, editing and directing both independently and as part of a collaborative crew. University and vocational experience have shaped me in to hardworking, responsible and organised individual with endless energy, enthusiasm and attention to detail.
This short selection of footage comes from a number of documentaries I have worked on over the past two years. The majority of my experience has been in sourcing original story ideas and undertaking the research to develop this in to a documentary, before directing the project. However I have also worked as a camera operator, animator, sound recordist and sound editor.
All of these projects have been produced collaboratively and I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing people along the way. I have also had the opportunity to work extensively with Orillo productions, who have helped me develop as a filmmaker to no end.
