These guys don't get nearly the respect they deserve. The most badass human being I ever met was a PJ, and I've met quite a few Spec Ops guys in my time in the marines.
Everytime I lack the inspiration or the motivation to keep moving forward I watch this and I'm reminded about the men that don't take breaks and can't afford to give up because someone's life is on the line. I'm finishing high school in a few months and want to join the military but sometimes I question myself and what I'm willing to do for the lives of others, your video has helped me beyond belief. This is not just some youtube video for me anymore but instead one of the many goals to inspire too, to push myself harder no matter the cost and join the military to help others and save lives. So I thank you. I wont let this country down.
Good old Combat Search And Rescue........The objective of CSAR is to effectively employ all available resources to recover distressed personnel in a wartime or contingency environment. Thus, we preserve and return to duty critical manpower resources of the United States, deny the enemy a source of intelligence information, and contribute to the morale and mission motivation of the combat forces.
I know SF/SOF has their trash talking about who is top dog..its all fun. But these PJ`s this is a different level here. When the best of the best eat shit, these guys come in no matter how hot it is. Their medical training is incredible considering the injuries they treat in the open. This pipeline also produces Combat Controllers. A friend of mine is a CCT...close to 40+ now..and still an amazing athlete..
Best military video I have seen yet! Keep it up buddy If I ever get shot in duty I want these guys to come and get, because I know I am safe with them. They are a freaking Navy Seal Team just with medical knowledge.
+Ryan O'Neil lol. I didn't said they went through it. They are just as though as those seals. I compared them to the US Navy Seals. Everytime those people who just want to feel smart once in their life.
+Military Pictures Navy Corpsmen, embedded in SEAL Teams, whose job is to keep them alive until these guys show up. SEALs have their own version, they just don't show up in helos, they're already there. Pararescue is there to continue treatment until they get to a hospital. Not saying they aren't amazing at their job, but SEAL Teams do have medical knowledge.
Valkyres and guardian-angels of the SF community, selfless, dedicated beyond mission beyond death, beyond the n'th degree; the best trained by the best to be better than the best.Willing to perish fighting to save others and trained for that very real and ever present eventuality. PJ's can watch my kid any time.
praying for marines. though i ve had to keep fighting in my mind this passed 44 years. was born to have served and proud to have served. greatest to have been a marine honorable
I see the Lightning strike and Pj, I simple press Like. The series is just... Awesome and Incredible. I remember in the 1st episode, when they rescued 2 americans, there was explosions near there, meaning Talibans was near them, but they had to wait 5 minutes to bring patients to Helo. The Taliban could come at them at anytime. That time sure is intense as hell. You can watch full 6 episodes on dailymotion.
Let this truth spread asunder, throughout the 4 corners of this fabulous world. What makes our beloved United States Military men and women stand out, is their deep innate reverence, love and heartfelt yearning for every individual to be safe, healthy, happy, free, secure, protected, and to enjoy their G-d given Destiny. In other words my beloved U S brave Combat Warriors are endowed with a vast whirlpool of immense and sacred Humanity. Yes, they were born with this celestial gift. That is why I deeply Love and Respect them. G-d Bless the U S Military and G-d Bless America. That includes you. You supersonic air studs!!!!!!
I want to do this so bad, only 14 years old. When high school is over, I will join the Air Force and try to do this. ( I know how to get into it, not going into detail ). My stepdad was a MARSOC, A.K.A. a Marine Force Recon. I have already started training from him, we go to the gym and the pool once a week. Swimming is my worst trait, so we work on that often. He pushes me to my limits. I also go out once a day in around 85 degree heat ( I live in Las Vegas, NV ), I carry a very heavy backpack and 2 full gallons of water and just walk for as long as I can. I do as many push-ups and sit-ups, and other stuff, as much as possible. I also just run a lot. Til I vomit. Everyday I say there "speech", or "pledge".
Arctic Productionz your comment is old you should be 15 or maybe 16 but I’m 14 now ( 7/2/18 ) and I have the same dream you have. If all goes well with your plan, I just wanna say good luck and thank you so much for your service brother......DISCARD MY NAME BTW🤗🤗
Does somebody know what the left guy is doing at 4:19? Seems like some kind of preparation for the jump but i'm not sure. If somebody has an idea please let me know.
It's actually because of the cocky mentality of rangers and seals. Airforce was sick of being labeled the weak. So they changed their training to be the absolute best and hardest. Not only to keep up with seals and rangers delta/7th group. But to exceed expectations and requirements of the force they are working with. Even back in 2005 they were convincing other SF groups they were the dudes for the job. Definitely one of the toughest Jobs in the AO imagine calling CAS while everyone else gets pockets of sleep some JTAC CCTS are up for 48 hours or pre-planning attacks just to get a few hours sleep. Lol shits fucking nuts.
Are PJs considered real special ops within the SOF community? I think of them as SOF but some people make it sound like they're just military paramedics
Mclovin They are a part of SOCOM. On the same level as SEALs and Army SF. I've heard they have some tier one pararescuemen and CCTs in the 21st(or 24th, I forget) STS that are on Delta and DEVGRU level. Boys are on some high speed shit
Mclovin Their mission is combat search and rescue, they're not paramedics. They are considered battle field airman but not spec ops, mainly. However, there are exceptions as they can be assigned to units within AFSOC. Primarly the Air Force's main AFSCs considered spec ops are CCT and SOWT.
not completely true they are a part of AFSOC and are often assigned to other SOF units of all branches and ACC has operationally gained some units also they are qualified paramedics that specialize in combat search and rescue along with combat rescue officers
I don’t want to sound ignorant, but I can’t find a whole lot of info on these guys, but how often do these guys get in Fire Fights? Probably one the most badass Spec Ops unit in the United States DOD. Same with 1st SOFD-D, DEVGRU, MARSOC, Special Forces, etc.
They're tier 2 SOF, most of PJs falls under ACC (Air Combat Control) the small numbers that is left falls under AFSOC (Air Force Special Operation Command). This guys main mission is CSAR (Combat Search And Rescue). Its mean that when a unit of special operation unit need medvac or rescue, they call PJs.
My uncle in a green beret and I wanna be a PJ. He's the Slayer in the family and I'll be the Saver. I feel like the art of being able to save lives would translate much better in the after service world then the art of killing people.
Would it be possible to apply/train to join the Air Force Pararescue if I was in the US Army Special Forces? I am not in the special forces. I am wondering, because if you can than that might be a plan for me
If you would have asked me 15 years ago if could be living this life now, I'd have told you that you were crazy. Like I said I do security works from the Pentagon to Panama and contracts from Panama to US Naval Subpen in Kingsbay during
+joshua english no, it's a completely different skill set and a completely different job. Many STS assigned PJs will crew and be assigned/embedded with other SOF units for support but door kickers don't select CSAR operators to be breechers and in assault stacks.

So true!
Best military video I have seen yet! Keep it up buddy
If I ever get shot in duty I want these guys to come and get, because I know I am safe with them. They are a freaking Navy Seal Team just with medical knowledge.
They go through basically every training corse out there in the US Military besides the SEALs.
+Ryan O'Neil lol. I didn't said they went through it. They are just as though as those seals. I compared them to the US Navy Seals. Everytime those people who just want to feel smart once in their life.

Maybe the most respectable and gratifying job ever.

I'm terrified for the HALO jumps but if that's what it takes, that's what I'll do.
Assassin Two Actual i’m sure everyone is scared if they’ve never done it before but you’ll get over that fear
The pool is what gets most. Water Con.
Great job on this video, very well made. I have put some thought into joining pararescue when I am of age.

One on Navy EOD would be pretty cool
So that others may live 🇺🇸
You literally asked me once before we were married why would I serve as a PJ, how could I Not and be Forgiven.

Badass dance moves..
He's acting like he's grinding using the crack as a guide. Dude is/was a skater..
Most people think he navy seals is the hardest to get in.... But they are greatly mistKen
Yeah. That’s because CSAR, CCTs, and other attachments have to keep up with whoever they are attached to.
It's because seals kill
Para rescue saves
@Rich 91 well yes.
That too

You would be completely right because after service you could become an EMT or firefighter
Rich 91 that would also work
title of the music?
What If The Storm End - SNOW PATROL
do NZ!
Anyone knows the age requirements for trying to join Pararescue Jumpers? Like what is the max age?
Enlistment age is 40 i believe. After that you need a waiver or have to have been previously enlisted.
I honestly don't know which one do you think is better in benefits navy seals or pararescue ?!
That depends on what you want out of each career field if you want to be a PJ make sure you have a love for medicine
If our only going into the Military for benefits then don't
Your
J think he meant benefit him in life not actual benefits like which one pays better lol
At least I hope that's what he meant lmao
اتمنى العيش في امريكا ولكن افضل العيش في قصر جميل وايضاً شقة كبيرة في نييورك وشركة بملايين الدولارات من اجل خطط ومشروعات ضخمة لصالحي انا وامريكا

Would it be possible to apply/train to join the Air Force Pararescue if I was in the US Army Special Forces? I am not in the special forces. I am wondering, because if you can than that might be a plan for me
No. Different branches. If you were under SOCOM, you may work together, but you cannot transfer between branches like that to my knowledge.
You can switch branches after your contract is up
If you would have asked me 15 years ago if could be living this life now, I'd have told you that you were crazy. Like I said I do security works from the Pentagon to Panama and contracts from Panama to US Naval Subpen in Kingsbay during
Pjs are better then seals! In my opinion
Their missions are nothing alike. Its a very ignorant statement to say one is better than the other.
Different task to say. CSAR main duty is help and rescue.
Making friends...? Or a home? ughhhh. duh checking in.
can pjs go to delta?..
That sounds bad ass what's the AFSOC
Colin D my comment above
Colin D nvm I know what it is by any chance do u know how they select from the pjs
+joshua english no, it's a completely different skill set and a completely different job. Many STS assigned PJs will crew and be assigned/embedded with other SOF units for support but door kickers don't select CSAR operators to be breechers and in assault stacks.
furthurondown alright thnks tryin to decide on a path in life that helps alot
Song..?
What If The Storm End - SNOW PATROL
+David Frost I found it a while ago, but thanks.
Didn't someone else make this video?
Better hope you know how to call in a good ass 9 line if you want the PJs coming for you.
Jeffery Randall right lmao
