The quote “Ferrari… when you want to be somebody. Lamborghini… when you are somebody.” is often misconstrued. In reality, Lamborghini is often associated with individuals aspiring to portray a certain image, while Ferrari ownership typically requires a prestigious status within the Ferrari community, often owning multiple models to acquire the newest releases.
Nailed it!…Though of course there are always exceptions to the rule.

McLaren cars offer world-class performance, to be sure, but Ferrari has consistently been able to push the needle further.
As a 4 time Ferrari owner I totally agree! However, for me it's the fact that Ferrari is Italian where Lamborghini is no longer Italian but owned by Germans making them less than pure breed!

Ferrari is hit-n-miss when it comes to styling. You have some real beauties like the 512TR, 355, 458, F12, 812, 296, and Portofino and then there's the less appealing ones like the 360, 430, F8, Roma, and SF90. They're not consistently good looking like Lamborghini has been since the Diablo. Pretty much all their cars have been sexy beasts.
The same goes for sound, where Ferrari has sacrificed their once glorious naturally-aspirated F1 sound with the muted turbo sound now in their non-V12 engines. That's something Lamborghini still does better. The sound of an Aventador or Huracan is pretty unique and identifiable. Even their new hybrid Revuelto still maintains an NA V12.
When it comes to performance and handling, Ferrari is still superior IMO. And that's something to definitely consider if you're interested in a supercar to drive hard rather than to show off.
At that level it comes down to personal preference....We may create a video extolling the virtues of Lamborghini...each marque has its strengths and weaknesses of course.
I disagree. I own cars from both brands. Ferrari F8 Spider, Ferrari F12, Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae, Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary. The Ferraris I use as daily drivers and Lamborghini occasionally for excitement. And this is what supercars are about. Also the customer experience at Lamborghini is more family character. This is not only driven by the local dealer (Lamborghini München). This is also driven by the headquarter where Stefan Winkelmann is often participating at events and he makes his customers feel part of a family. Therefore if I had to chose only from one brand, it would be Lamborghini. But tastes are different...

People can say what they want but the fact of the matter is there is no Lamborghini without Ferrari. And Ferrari is the company that has retained its originality all these years.
That quote is just irrelevant in reality. Lamborghini doesn't have the heritage of Ferrari and still can't match Ferrari's sales numbers.

Your analysis is spot-on. I think a Ferrari is just more practical to drive around town.
I don't know how you came up with 13 different models for Ferrari. Currently, they have two supercars - 296 and SF90, two gt cars - Roma and 812, one 4 door car - Purosangue, one icona model - Daytona SP3.
Check in more detail, you’ve missed quite a few!
@@RichReviews_ You can help me by naming them. I do know that the F8, Portofino, Lusso, Monza aren't in production anymore. So what am I missing?
Just search “Ferrari models” in google and click on the Ferrari website “Line up: the official car range 2024”
Like I said Monza, Portofino ended their production. Portofino M was replaced by Roma Spider and Monza SP1/SP2 was succeeded by the Daytona SP3 in the Icona series and the others are just special and spider variants of some of the cars I listed. So, a total of six models currently in production.
Spider versions are classed as separate models, you’ve skipped those!

Hate to say this Richard, but I think you are ever so slightly biased……. But then again so am I. I have a 458 spider, and it ain’t going anywhere. Nothing like the sound of the NA 4.5 litre VA, screaming at 9K revs

I have the utmost respect for Ferrari and the people that own them. It is a fine brand with a prestigious heritage. That being said, there's no way in HELL I would pick one over a Lamborghini, because Lamborghini is not civil, it's not reserved. It's basically a rabid, homicidal animal with fur that resembles a Jackson Pollack painting and a V10/V12 that sounds like it wants to kill you...and I actually prefer that.
P.S.: If I did own a modern Ferrari, it would be a Portofino M as (Unpopular opinion) I think the Portofino M is one of the most beautifully curvaceous front-engined Ferraris ever made...
Nothing wrong with the Porto M…great car and partly agree with you regarding the personality of a Lamborghini.
