Be sure to try whale watching or going out on a lobster boat, or walk the shore path that is simply amazing. Bar Harbor has so much to do and this travel guide will give you some great ideas when planning your vacation. Be sure to go to the Stadium restaurant as it is rated 5 stars and yes it is truly 5 stars. The Melt is another great option for fries and cheese sandwiches. It is amazing. And of course the lobster is available in just about every restaurant.

My wife Kathleen and myself took a vacation to Bar Harbor and Acadia we stayed in Ellsworth Maine it was a great trip in Sept unfortunately this was our last trip together my wife passed away of breast cancer

I grew up in Maine. Bar Harbor is a great example of how Maine can be. Haven’t been there in over 20 years, but still absolutely love the place!

Heading to Bar Harbor end of summer... Your videos are awesome!! Will 3 days / two nights be enough to visit?? Then we will head south to see Portland and Kennebunkport.
You may want more time in bar harbor. You will want 1 good day in the town of bar harbor then a good day in Acadia National Park. Then another good day exploring outside of bar harbor if you want. I have like 3 or 4 videos in bar harbor with great info don't missed any of them. Also a video in Portland.. do not miss the lighthouse in Portland. It's incredible. Hope you have a fantastic vacation I want to hear about it. 👍👍
